Team Formation and Play

  The last match has proven that with some focus and effort, we can play the 4-2-3-1 formation effectively. However, we will still have to work on some of the attacking and defensive plays for this formation, which I will try to touch on in the coming weeks. Do feel free to share your suggestions with me, if any. Based on the last match, I think we can adopt this formation from the start of every match.

  hi guys...
  jus wanna add my two cents worth... i really like this new
  4-2-3-1 formaion very much (i am using the same formation for CM 3... !) and i think in time the team will excel with this formation.
  
  the other thing i would like to add is that although i lack in both physic and aggression... i am very comfortable and enjoy playing in the DM position...
  
  lastly... my computer is finally up and running again!! see you guys on sunday!!

  Bernard, you're doing very well in the DM role. Good to hear that you're comfortable in that position.

  Looks like we will be playing on a field that is of similar size for this weekend's game. Would like to see us playing to our strength in the 4-2-3-1 formation.
  
  Ian made some good supporting runs during the last game in this formation, with our DM or central defence covering for him. The understanding to cover for Ian was good and well executed. Excellent!! Keep it up!!

  I still dunno what the team wants the full backs to do. Support the attack or stay in defence like in 4-4-2.

  Hey guys this is Robin Yap (14), finally got my comp and online connections. Hope to stay updated wif the team thru this site.
  
  From a keeper's point of view, i think the 4-2-3-1 formation is more effective against fitter opponents who like to counter attack down the center. When we face opponenets who like to work the ball down the flanks, maybe reverting bac to the trusty old 4-4-2 would prove to be a better option. But talk is talk, we will have to sort it out on the greens yah.
