  384MB SD RAM
  128MBGeForce FX 5200
  20G hard disk
  Windows ME
  Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse
  plus my lousy sound card n speakers.
  
  mine's a dinosaur computer, bought 3 years ago. only changed my 3D card early this year.

  Can anyone help me here as i am sort of a PC idiot? I intend to buy the Creative barebone PC but i do not know what other peripherals i need in order for me to play games and surf the net. I heard it doesnt come with OS. Does that mean i need to get the XP software, a monitor, and keyboard? what about the hard disk and ram?

  what is the hardware included in the PC u buying?
  
  anyway, when geting a new PC, make sure to get a powerful 3D card like the GeForeFX series or ATI range of 3D card. get lots of RAM, ideally with 512MB or more more. if got spare money, buy a good sound card, like the creative audigy1 or 2 sound card.
  
  as for surfing net, get a modem loh.

  I would go with Raedon Graphics, but with Nvidia's tie up with Gigabyte, I went for the Gigabyte/Gainward combo 'cos of the nForce chip in it lol
