my fren bought the psp value pack $449 if not wrong..my area sell $488 include the cover,32mb,headset..hmm jus asking..wil u guys buy at sim lim or those sony shop lol??hmm i doubt 32mb is enough to use lo haha..

The games run on UMD which is a smoother rounder version of the minidisc. You can't get pirated games at the moment as I don't think that anyone has access to a UMD burner yet.
You can put any memory stick duo into the psp. i'm using a 256mb card which allows me to convert about an hours worth of video footage.
The difference between the japanese and the us psp is that the screens for the jap version are made by Sharp whereas the us ones are made by Samsung. Thats the only difference with the machines apart from the region coding for umd films. -
PSP will be officially launch here in singapore in late may/early june.
maybe price will be cheaper by then. -

Do you mean how they load or how they play with less buttons than the ps2 pad?
Games come on UMD's which are designed like minidiscs but with a miniDVD so it can hold all the infomation. I haven't come across any games that you can access from the memory card as of yet.
The PSP has quite a few buttons missing. There are only two shoulder buttons and not four like the standard ps2 pad. There is one analogue control(not 2) and one direction control only. Also you cannot press the analogue for the regular L3 button like on the ps2 pad.
Has this affected any games? Well, when playing games like Tony Hawk Underground 2 remix, it is hard as you can only use the analogue to pan around the character when you are riding the board, not when you are exploring on foot. You have to use the left and right control to do rotations as the L an R buttons are used for the caveman and acid drop moves. -
so the games are all seperated frm ps2?as in for example i play suikoden on ps2...and there is no way i can load data and cont to play on psp?
