195 obviously a good choice.105 plys woeful routes but the demand is still there. Even though a certain percentage of duplication with 106 of TT.
My take:
15, 33, 105, 124, 131, 138, 195.
Not sure if all these routes are bendy-friendly, though.

15, 33 would find it extremely difficult to manouvre along Joo Chiat Place with bendies. 138 does not need bendies. 195 has already been deemed unfit for bendies. 105 and 131 are doing fine with the current fleet. 124 is the one that needs HC buses but I don't see any reason why LTA cannot provide DDs if they trim trees along Telok Blangah estate. Just one, two roads remaining, rest are DD friendly.

138 DD friendly but not deployed with DD
138 demand low most of the time except on weekends and public holidays.

138 demand will fall even further with 860 introduced to YCK MRT.

Will not retire, but reduce significantly in number. It will be like "wow... i spotted a bendy today" like we were doing with the VO3x.
咱们觉得铰接客车以会在樟宜机场和那些能容纳层巴士的路段行驶。
In future, bendy buses would probably only be found at Changi Airport and at areas where double-decker buses cannot access.

There are bus routes that require high capacity buses, but could only use the low capacity single-decker buses as some roads cannot accommodate double-decker buses, such as bus route 105. If these routes can use bendy buses, I believe the comfort level on these bus routes would increase.

The last batch of the 40 bendies will run for another 15 years till their lifespan expires and there will be no more.
Meanwhile LTA will be sorting out the viable solutions on how the current airport services and a few services with height constraints, which adds up to a handful, are to continue operations when the last bendy bus retires. Most likely they might add on a few services to divert the crowds, use short working trips for areas of these routes that have high demands but do not need to go to the airport, or creative route amendments as in 807 and 860 case. Else they may alter the infrastructures that can accommodate double deckers.
It's going to be interesting observations and changes for these services in the years going forward.

The infrastructure should be able to accommodate bendy buses. Probably just a few adjustments would be required.
I feel that the airport bus routes will always require bendy buses, unless one day when the Cross Island Line and Thomson East Coast Line open and the passenger demand no longer require the bus routes to have high capacity buses.
As for what will happen in future, we are unable to confirm, because the situation keeps changing. Nonetheless, what we can confirm is that bendy buses will not be disqualified in the foreseeable future. Because the airport and some areas cannot accommodate double-decker buses, as long as the bus routes plying these places require high capacity buses, we will still require bendy buses to meet the passenger demand.

Keep on waiting... I bet w you 50 big that at least for the next decade... buses will continue going into the basements... they had a great chance to build a new terminal, and they decided to fk it...
Bendies are still very useful even though they take up more road space.

You see, that's the plan.
Thomson East Coast and Cross Island lines will be built in the next 15 years, whereby the last bendies will be withdrawn from service. By then, the demands will be diverted to these lines and the loadings of the current bus services in the airport will be lessen.
While you have said airport bus terminal can support bendies only, but that's only for one service. Terminal 3 and 1 bus terminal is too small and narrow to accommodate more bendies. On top of that, every terminal requires a security check before entrance. The bus queue will be very long if there are many of these long buses in the waiting queue and thus will even delay other vehicles for the airport services.
For now, the bendies are still in use because there are 15 years to go for the 40 A24s. LTA don't want to waste them. Once they have found other solutions to replace the bendies, airport services will not even need these bendies anymore.

No need to bet.
Go observe what LTA is doing instead.

Because 300/302 bc will rotate every 2 weeks, and they will bring their buses along with them.

Hahaha what is LTA even doing? Adding new svcs so that more buses can be jammed in the basement?
You ask us to observe and I'm telling you that doing so will just be a sad waste of your time.

Actually, regarding the airport connectivity, I feel that it’s a pity that the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur High Speed Rail will not run to Changi Airport. The only rail lines that connect to the airport are East West Line, Cross Island Line and Thomson East Coast Line.
Nonetheless, as to whether the buses have to have high capacity after the opening of Cross Island Line and Thomson East Coast Line, that would have to see whether the airport stations got relieve the passenger demand for public buses.

I understand your concern. I also think that the current infrastructure and planning is not able to allow every bus route to use bendy buses to ply the Changi Airport basement car park.
Regarding this point, the solution is to not allow buses to stop at the Changi Airport basement car park for too long. Instead, let the buses call at bus stops for only a few minutes and go off.
Because from my observations, the car park road space is wide enough. The only issue is that many buses stop at the car park for too long, and there are bus drivers that park their bus at the side of the road and take a break at their office. It could be due to this that the Changi Airport basement car park seem to not have enough space for every bus route to use bendy buses, and only bus route 858 uses bendy buses.
If we change the current operating model to an arrangement similar to an average bus stop, where buses just stop for a few minutes then go, I believe the basement car park would probably not have traffic congestion issue, and every bus route can use bendy buses to enter the Changi Airport basement car park to serve passengers.
Of course, I understand that there are bus routes that originate at the Changi Airport basement car park. Then change the routing lor, by extending those bus routes to originate at surrounding bus terminals. For example, bus route 36 can be extended to Changi Business Park or Tampines Concourse, instead of originating at the Changi Airport basement carpark.
This way, the roads would probably be wider a bit, and every bus route could use bendy buses to meet the demand for high capacity.
Hopefully, someone can raise this suggestion to the authorities, and not just let this be an online discussion topic only.
Nonsense la you..create so many username for what?To piss more ppl?
