I still see bendies on service 851 and majority of them are O405Gs. A24s are less common.

only one perm (1241) for 851 due to the ad right now i think. still got cameo bendy though, but most of the time are random E500/A95 doing those bendies slot.
300 seems to be getting lesser bendies these days. Someone else reported the same with 302.
Seems like 979 and 983 are getting more DDs to offset bendies on these feeders, who in turn are getting more A22s.
Now does it mean just because it is designated as feeder 300/302 cannot get DDs while 979/983 can even though they still have the high loading for few stops?
Im not sure of 300, but i been going to Yew Tee area quite frequently using 302 for work purposes in the past 3 weeks. 302 still has quite a substantial number of bendy (including the MB O405Gs) and 979 has almost 100% DDs. I think for 302, there have been add-on trips using MAN A22s and no added Bendy. Probably that's why it seems that way.
For 979, people who take from BPJ spend a good 10 mins or more on the bus so DD can still suit but for 302, journey is lesser than 10mins for most commuters so Bendy makes more sense.
But I guess the part of feeders using bendy and trunks using DDs is still quite true to some extent. 979 and 983 seemed to be getting DDs but the new BSEP 301 was given bendy.

They even upsized 979M..

1 bus every 30 mins? Its going to be packed at all times.
I’ve got a feeling LTA will order a few units of A24 after all the O405Gs is deregistered

300 seem to be using 1 or 2 A24 daily from my observation.
For 979/M,I only see buses like 1340Y & 1418H as Rigid Bus.Suspect the B9TL replace most of the A22,
983 still the same for me leh...But their A22 perm SMB1577G,SMB3112B & even SMB3131X seems to disappear.Likely replace by DD I Guess...

302 seems to have a fall in the number of A24s buses.See some of their BD perm doing 300 quite often.
169 no more perm bendy bus.

Hopefully for the CGA services..

off peak no...
peak sometimes is fully seated...generally good demand lah surprisingly for peak...
Anyway on 17 Oct midnight Woodlands Rd between Stagmont Ring and KJE will be closed, not too sure if its due to the right turning from Stagmont Ring to Woodlands Rd.. if yes, 979M will say bye anytime...

think a few 302 bendies slot became SD slot... spotted some perm bendy BCs also starting to drive SD liao...

Still can spot many bendies on 169.

Majority fleet of 169 are DDs plus a small number of A22s
Since Volvo is supplying hybrids, they should also supply some B8RLEAs to replace the retiring Volgren bendies. Best if they come with Optimus body like the Transperth ones.

Bendies?
I think 40 bendies isnt enough.
IF LTA wanna use bendies to supplement CGA Svc and for heavy loadings short feeder svc.
24:6 units
27:10 units
34:5 units
36:No need...36B can convert into M and use DD.
53:No need,53B supplement.
110:5 units
858:6 units

Yep 300 starting to have more A24s daily.. Usually S and sometimes ap. eg today have 8032R AP replacing 1117Z.
983 shld be reduce AP fleet, that's why SD got kicked out. AP DD remains at 3 5063-5065, 5130 5131 and the rest are S. The S DD seems unstable other than 5130 5131. Pretty sure there's more than just these 2. ytd and today got 5800M S not replacing 5130/5131

SBST : 24, 27 & 53
SMRT : 110 & 858
TTS : none
GAS : 34 & 36
but only see 3 bendies at SSDEP, none of them at LYDEP.
BTW 53M can reduce a bit of load?

5064X doesn’t seems perm anymore, perm BC drive random B9TL most of the time.Sometimes even 5131 also do on 5064X slot.Does 5800M only do on AM S Shift?Everytime that BC who drive that bus only drive Am S leh...
Do any of the Yishun feeder services have restriction for DDs? Maybe the bendies are transferred for that particular service and not necessarily 24 going to CGA. Though if you ask me, best would be to put bendies on 24 because especially with SUTD opening the demand between Tanah Merah and Upper Changi is quite heavy.

Huh what SUTD opening?
Why is the demand between Tanah Merah and Upp Changi (I presume MRT stations) heavy? The two Expo stops don't see much demand, and the other two have 12/31/38/47 alongside.
Even if so, why put bendies on 24 for the entire route? Might as well introduce a short-trip or add DDs to 12/47?
