End up those Marsiling/Woodlands Sec students waiting at ADM Stn (who're intending to travel to the West loop) will have to wait longer..

222 is absolutely fine with DDs. It is different from WDL intra-towns like 913 or CCK feeder 300. 913 will be problematic with DDs. Same I feel about 812, though 812 doesn't have high loading anymore, so SDs are okay to manage fleet.
On another note, with Tampines East loop for 293, I don't know how good the DDs are faring on this route. Need to check it out.

You damn sure 222 are okay with DDs? I won't question you saying that 225 is okay with DDs but as a regular commuter of 222 I absolutely reject your claim above.
Take a trip down to Bedok Stn during PM peak and you will see what a bottleneck these 222 DDs have caused in BOTH DIRECTIONS. See, this is what I meant by being similar — just as 913 encounters heavy turnovers at Admiralty Stn twice, 222 also has that at Bedok Stn. And if you observe the DDs towards Fengshan none of the upper decks are ever filled. If you're lucky maybe around 10 or so will go up, but the rest crams the front end of the lower deck and the bus leaves with pax shut outside the doors.
