The days of bendy buses are limited, especially for trunks. More and more services are seeing bendies getting replaced with DDs.
Of the bendy fleets 960, 963 don't even have anymore.
The latest is 962, 964 which suddenly went to DDs from bendies.
851 is seeing a decline and spotting bendy on 188 is a rarity.
Which will be the next service to have no bendy anymore?
I think it is 851 because it will be with SBST
188 because already very few bendies
176 also may move to all DDs.

Woodlands still have a lot of them left (especially 912). Its possible that they would be the last ones to have them

960 once in a while will have from the 951E crossover..

960 has 2 bendy jz nw964 has 1 random Split bendy everyday67 still have but nt many
67 sometimes have 1-3 bendies.. Or else none..
I hope they have to transfer the remaining bendies to WLDEP, only if there are bendy buses available to service 110. this is to save the lifespan.

Nope.. 1 of them should be 960 S.. The other one got swopped out under 951E duty..
Not sure what the purpose of this thread is, esp given that we still have 40 healthy A24s here..
But I'll say get ready to see more trunks and Yishun svcs stripping their bendies to WDL/CCK feeders and intratowns, and CGA svcs.. esp given that at least for the next decade, no DDs will be even near CGA..
as if 40 is so many.
we are talking about 4500 buses with LTA.
Service 61 very less seeing bendy bus.
854 still has a healthy bit, and 1-2 does 854E trips on weekday mornings
806 appears to have much of its bendies replaced by A95s.
is 804 having such replacements also?
804 still have some A24s and also O405Gs left too in their existing fleet. Only small numbers of bendies covering 806 during peak hours.

61 has no bendies on it anymore.

Why?
When downline opens later this month service 61 might get lesser passengers as this routes heavily duplicates dtl from eunos to city area. More O405Gs are on verge of retiring and a portion of A24s will be or already transferred to SBSt for seletar package.
You want to see o405G bendy - go to 854 . Even if all the other services don't have it I can guarantee u that 854 will have it .
From what I observed from the o405 retirement, 854 was still using o405 while the other services are using A22 .
Am not surprised if 854 is getting all the retired o405g fleet.
Agreed..854 needs more high capacity buses and they have a mix of DDs and bendies with O405Gs majority.

I don't think 61's main loading is between Eunos and city... Loading on the west side seems to be stronger.

Weekdays morning Bt Batok to Ngee Ann super packed..Remember last time when i worked for SMRT i tio S shift Habit,Bt Batok 4th bus stops already packed like sardines

61's loading is high and low along its route.
Bukit Batok - Ngee Ann (high - DD worthy)
Clementi Rd - Harbourfront (loading is lost especially with removal of flats along Commonwealth Dr/Tanglin Halt, the bus passes the winding route taking no pax. Rest route depends on svc 93, 100 arrival times)
Harboufront - Outram (loading very much depends on 143, 166 arrival times)
Bugis - UBI (this is where loading can again be DD worthy during peak hours).
Hence, IMO makes absolute sense to split 61 into two to cater to the high loading sectors.

854 is unpredictable. In between, they were getting maximum A95s and then suddenly old bendies popped up again.
