Routes you can leave a bus & catch same bus later

  As the title says it is essentially getting off one bus then walk to couple of stops on the route and catch the same bus as the you got off earlier on the same journey.

  Examples:

  317 for Serangoon Gardens :)

  I think it is also possible with Route 40 in MacPherson estate.

  Bus 3 and 83. Alight at Punggol central and run quickly across the flats and cross the LRT overhead bridge to bus stop at Punggol field to take the same bus with same number plate. Note must run fast enough. Cheers. Thanks.

  Can't we do so for almost every single service? Just aligh at somewhere near the terminus, cross the road and wait.

   

  If you mean different roads:

  123 between Lower Delta Rd and Bukit Merah int. It's a bit far, but certainly faster than 123 which travels all the way to Orchard and Queensway.
