Hi mr carbikebus, actually I don't think need 118A and 118B. I saw the buses for 118 traveling at super slow speed on TPE when they could have stepped up gear and increased speed. Cheers. Thanks.

Wakakakaka..Supplementary service runtime is more tighter than its parent..Compared 43/43M,98/98M,143/M you will see difference ranging from 5-11 minutes seriously

Commuters complain waiting time then LTA added many DDs and this is the results lor.

Not necessary also,The best if can just introduce a new svc from either Sengkang/Punggol to Airport T4 via TPE using DD

that would be the best option available. Cheers

It would be nice if sv26 can go to Uec, since sv25 is there, route after Chai chee then out via Bedok North Ave 1 and follow sv229 route towards uec.
Then sv229 could do both Chai Chee and Jalan Kembangan more diversity.
The area around Buangkok MRT has crappy connections with the rest of Sengkang.

This service will have low demand, but it serves the southern-most areas of Sengkang not served by LRT, where MRT can only bring residents to Sengkang Town Centre, and existing bus services can only bring them within Compassvale and some parts of Anchorvale and Fernvale.
It also serves Anchorvale Link which is not currently served by any bus service.
Feeder 376
Compassvale Int - Sengkang Ctrl (Loop)
Compassvale Rd
Sengkang East/West Way (partially U/C)
Sengkang West Rd
Sengkang West Ave
Fernvale Rd (partially U/C)
Buangkok Dr (partially U/C)

Compassvale Dr
Sengkang Ctrl (looping point)
This service serves the western-most areas in Sengkang not served by LRT, where existing bus services can only bring residents to Jalan Kayu and Sengkang Town Centre.
This service will terminate at Buangkok Int in future.
If 973 can serve Cashew Rd and Gangsa Rd,that will be better I Guess
Service 152
Hougang South Terminal - Compassvale Cres/Dr (Loop)
Hougang St 21
Hougang Ave 1
Lorong Ah Soo
Upp Paya Lebar Rd
Upp Serangoon Rd
Serangoon Ctrl (Serangoon MRT)
Yio Chu Kang Link

These 3 services connect residents in Sengkang/Hougang to Buangkok MRT, so Buangkok MRT's 'title' of 'white elephant' can be removed.

Why hougang south? Firstly its not a ter, and second LTA would nvr support a trunk that is so long when the bus service merely starts frm a bus stop without a ter, as for the case of 42 and 115 <-- their route isnt as long as ur suggested one
As i hav always emphasised, LTA shld rly look at having a ter there lah

Hougang Central
Hougang Ave 4
Hougang Ave 9
Hougang St 91
Hougang St 93
Buangkok Link
Buangkok Cres (Looping Point)
Feeder to link Buangkok Cres to Hougang MRT and Hougang 1. Demand will be low as it will be split between 101, 152 (my suggestion, see above) and this service.
Service 114
Hougang Central Int - Serangoon Garden Circus (Loop)
Hougang Central
Hougang Ave 5
Hougang Ave 7
Hougang Ave 8
Hougang Ave 6
Hougang Ave 10
Hougang Ave 2
Ang Mo Kio Ave 3
Serangoon North Ave 1
Yio Chu Kang Rd
Serangoon Garden Way
Serangoon Garden Circus (Looping Point)
Provides direct connection between Hougang Ave 8 and Hougang Ave 7
Provides direct connection between Serangoon North Ave 1 and Hougang MRT, as Blocks 109-127 Serangoon North Ave 1 have no direct links with any MRT station (other than 315 which winds at Serangoon Garden Circus before going to Serangoon MRT)
Provides direct connection between Hougang and Serangoon Gardens (currrently only served by 136 which is much slower than this new service)

they should reinstate the Hougang South Int as Kovan Int. also some services could be amended to start from Kovan Int so as to improve frequencies on most svcs around the area.
I think that every part of a town should have direct connections with every other part of the same town, instead of all bus services leading to the MRT station only. But this will result in many useless feeder services (like the Rivervale sectors of my suggested feeder 375).
Buangkok MRT is still a white elephant now. There are literally no crowds there compared to most other MRT stations.

Yeah, I also agree that Hougang South Int should be reinstated as Kovan Int. The bus parking bays in Serangoon Int and Hougang Ctrl Int are often saturated, limiting the introduction of new bus services, so some of the services should be amended to Kovan Int to allow new routes and improve frequencies on existing routes.

Between Serangoon MRT and Punggol MRT on NEL, Buangkok MRT is the only station without a shopping mall. Maybe that explains the lack of crowds.
