High loading: Buangkok Drive/Link/Crescent/Green - Buangkok MRT/Serangoon MRT
Medium loading: Sengkang MRT - Compassvale Cres, Serangoon MRT - Lor Ah Soo (duplicates 53/M)
Low loading: Sengkang East Rd (only links a few flats to Buangkok MRT)
It was hard to find a terminus for this route. Hougang South would have been a good choice, but it has been closed long ago. Shortening it to Serangoon is also impossible as Serangoon has no space for new services.
This route will cannibalise 43's loading. 43 can go back to old fleet with 50% SD/DD if this route is introduced.

Welcome with an open arm..14 B9TL 6 Citaro should be enough
Extension of 113
Hougang Central
Hougang Ave 5
Hougang Ave 7
Hougang Ave 8
Continue current route to Upp Paya Lebar
Provides direct link from Hougang Ave 7 to Hougang Ave 8, which is very near but has no direct link currently
No one takes 113 from Upper Serangoon Rd with its winding route to Hougang Ave 1/Lorong Ah Soo anyway.
New Feeder 271 (Bt Merah Int. <> Strathmore Ave [Loop])
Compliements Svc 63 in Redhill Estate, provides a connection to Redhill MRT and Bukit Merah Town Centre. Also serves new and existing flats Dawson Rd and Strathmore Ave and connects to MRT as well. Can also be amended to Jalan Rumah Tinggi to completely duplicate svc 63.
It is very hard to plan feeder routes in Hougang.
I really wonder where 112 gets its demand from.

And from Hougang Int to Ave 7
Should we have a SWT 171A from Yishun Bus Int to Mandai Road (Mandai Camp 2) during AM Peak.OS Route can u turn back? from Mandai Road to Yishun Int
The demand for that sector during AM peak is damn high like really.

I like this idea.
Though if I had the power to, I'll probably send 63 to terminate at Bt Merah (if only there's space there) as priority first, and worry about amending another service to Strathmore later (perhaps 64 or 122? Not very familiar with roads around Queenstown). Still it may not have as good an effect as having a new feeder service.

Might as well 171A Yishun to Jelebu Rd Opp BPP. Or BPJ Rd where 75/184 last bus stop is
Rather just cut it (south of BPJ onwards) and terminate it at BPJ. There are enough services + DTL2 to cover for one transfer along the deleted sectors. Looping is not conducive for long services.
If there's no space, can just send some of the other southbound services (such as 75 and 176) to BPJ bus park.

Yes i agree that idea. However, why would u prioritise the amendment of 63? I thought the stretch along rummah tinggi shld be quite utilised? Sorry i dun frequent there but please enlighten me thanks :) (well on the map it looks like a short road in fact, so maybe amending it wouldnt affect a lot of ppl?)

It is a short road, though with a complex of flats and the end with a park on one side. I think that 271 can suffice for residents as there is still a link to MRT even if 63 is diverted away to Bt Merah.

Fun fact:
Rumah Tinggi was once the only terminus of 63 as it looped at MacPherson estate in the 90s. 63 was made to loop at Rumah Tinggi only in 2002 when it was extended to Eunos.

Eyy but rummah tinggi used to be a terminal wad. When they replaced it with eunos, i think SBS just hasn't thought of changing the looping point i guess. Well more like my concerns are:
1. If 63 goes to Bkt Merah, will it affect and inconvenient the residents who use that rumah tinggi bus stop to walk all the way out?
2. Bkt Merah got enuf space anot? House 2 more service? But in anyways that suggested 271 is good! :)
