I actually do agree that 859 loading is okay. Perhaps its bcos the word 'significant' which makes up the misunderstanding that SDs cannot tank the load but nvm. I didnt say that something is wrong with 859 though
Talking about Weekday AM, I did see a lot of passengers stranded quite a few times. Although its lucky that 859B is right behind which is also full

That's what I meant. The 21 Shitaros + 15 Batch 4 A22s for training fleet.
For DDs maybe about 18 Wrights and 22 A95s.

If you observed Yishun svc there's a lot of Citaros,Afterall I'm sure LTA will include A22s into the next batch

Ok.
I hope personal vendettas won't affect this, just like what someone ever said about SMRT staff against 851, 167 and 980.

Under BCM there's no more SDs only training buses,Once you're trained inside the depot for 3-4 days,You go out driving a mixture of SD/DD.So DDs can use what.
Originally posted by SBS3004X:Then use DDs on 3. If also got shortage of DDs then cry to LTA lor...
Still have 48 Wrights TBR in Batch 4. GA maybe can get 5, then the rest split between SBST (replace VO3X) and storage for future Seletar operator.
Next time no need mass redeployments already. All under LTA anyway. Just swap out the bendies for DDs.
Still have 70 Wrights to be registered in Batch 4 for SBS (to replace 50 Olympians on SBS Transit). Other than that, more of the Wrights can be used for SMRT Buses.

The other time user TIB 585L say 302 add to 17 buses..

SMRT well done. Continue to rob Yishun to enrich Woodlands/CCK/BPJ. If you really want to continue, I have a suggestion.
Make 969 FULL FLEET DD, and spam 854 with old bendies, OCs, Shitaros, and only 2 DDs.
SMRT just transferred 2 more E500s from AMDEP to KJDEP.
SMB3605X, SMB3610E.

I didnt say there are height restrictions along 851 route and didnt think so... someone else did. But thats not important.
851 just one of the last priority for SMRT.
Now lets hopw 167/980 can get some too.
I would say that 851 is one of the most well treated service all these while.
In late 1994, Tibs started rolling out new air-conditioned 0405 fleets and 851 was the very first to get them.
In 1996, Tibs rolled out its first zero step buses (NAC Scania Elbo) and 851 also got most of them.
In 1997, Tibs started rolling out new bendies into its fleet and 851 was also among the first to get capacity upgrades then.
In 2000, Tibs rolled out brand new Habit bendies and 851 was also among the first to get them.
In 2008, SMRT started rolling out new Merc OC500LE WAB fleets and 851 was also one of them getting new fleets. 851 was also among the first few SMRT service to go WAB.
However when came to double decker fleets, 851 couldn't get them initially was probably due to Yishun interchange as well as AMDEP infrastructure constraints.
Compared to 854, dun forget that 851 actually started bendies much earlier before 854 started getting them (that was in March 2000). When come to double deckers deployment, 854 got to get the DDs first, probably because 854 had too many old bendies and they need some of these new double deckers in order for 854 to go WAB then.
Spotted green A95 on 851

Well 851 has been the worst treated high capacity service in the last 5 years. That's what matters right now.
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:Well 851 has been the worst treated high capacity service in the last 5 years. That's what matters right now.
At least 851 does have adequate WAB buses. Since SMRT got plenty of A22 buses just hire more drivers and fleet add another 5 AP buses at least.
While 854 is still struggling to meet its minimum WAB quota. I still see several consecutive NWAB at times even with 1-2 A95s added in.
Seems like Service 12 got capacity downgrade under Go-Ahead. Quite crowded today; observed many SDs
How many A95s on 851 today?
