I'll rather have 43M withdrawn than have it run on full SD.
HGDEP should keep some of the 3467-3473 and 5176-5185 Wrights. Upgrade 43, and maybe 1 DD fleet add to 62 and 118.
I saw super long queues for 118 at Punggol during weekday off peak.
i think SBST should have more DD bus on 506 and some services which required them. some new services should not even need a DD bus on service. and some overlapping each other. maybe those who really need the DD service must speak to the area MP.
43 should really have 20 DDs and 3 SDs, shorter run time for off-peak, and longer run time for peak.
14 got one DD > SD downsize... BBDEP side.

By the time Bird Park/Rainforest Park completes everyone use DD except for height-restricted areas which uses MAN A24 bendy buses. About 40 bendies, they might be deployed for:
- 12 for Phuket
- 3 for 24
- 3 for 27
- 7 for 105 (184 can use double decker buses)
- 5 for 302
- 4 for 804
- 6 for 858
By the time Changi Airport lower down the basement, or relocate upstairs, LTA will de-register all MAN A24s. Another problem is the Lorong Chuan intersection only.
Agreed... By the time 858 is DD-friendly LTA will de-register...
Becoz the buses will alr reach lifespan...

But the still die2 don't want to kick out 7344M.
Once they also used SBS7446C to replace SBS7393X on 7
since tower transit took over service 106,
am I correct to say that the fleet is now majority DD?
i find 106 drastically improve in terms of deploying more DDs

I think it is safe to say 106 has majority DD, I'm really glad that 106 is now getting lots of DD (I suggested in this forums a few weeks back on 106 deploying more DD during off-peak when 106 was under SMRT with so many SDs during off-peak)
Recently had observed more than 2 single decks on 106 during AM peak

What i observed is 20 DDs and 4 SDs and im not sure if i missed any..Anyway still better than SMRT mah

yes...which is good enough... during SMRT days you had 16HC... and 16 rigids... frequent bunching... and getting rigids during peak hours... Happy to see TT taking over 106... though it is quite prelim.
I suspect 242 is getting a SD > DD conversion but I need more time to confirm this, there are 2 DDs spotted today and two days ago, I spotted 1 DD doing 242 on AP slot (there was a change in timetable wef 3 May 2016)
After route change of sv 193, it has gotten massive upgrades.
Before change: Fleet size: 13 buses (7 DDs, 6 SDs)
After change: Fleet size: 13 buses (10 DDs, 3 SDs) + 2 crossover DDs from 179 during AM/PM peak.

Pro and cons:SMRT bunchings,a lot of SDs but quite a fast journey and mostly experience BCs know their stuff,TT majority DDs,Quite frequent but also have frequent bunchings and slow pace speed..Even at Orchard Rd still shaking around 25-30kmh.
Talking about speed. Do u know that 965 add around 2 buses 1 SD n 1 DD AP but the runtime got extended from 90 mins to 120mins. Extension of 30 mins. Meaning 1 full trip of 965 is 2h now instead of the usual 1h 30 mins

97mins for initial round trip? Sv161 given 40 mins to get from woodlands to sengkang via expressway durning off peak. So how can 965 do it in 48 mins when it have to go via yishun.

Last time 965 always chiong,
46 seems to be getting usable
Saw a 46 bus today with almost-filled seats and some upstairs (30-40 pax) at Bedok North Ave 3 towards Tampines. I would have thought it has beat 18 towards Tampines

Really meh? Took me 45 mins from Woodlands to HG when i took the full trip. Then when i take the second time took me 10 mins extra due to the jam at Woodlands plus the loop
