Woodlands bus park again ? How many kind of model does Wdep need ? A95 / B9tl / Enviro ? They have given up some service to Yishun already so that doesn't make sense for them to take in more buses . Unless is a stopover ( a.k.a storage place for this new buses ) But i is it that hard to drive from the custom to loyang or amdep to park ? Just asking .

Think first 30 units definitely for SMRT for replacement of their 29 O405G MK2
Walan eh... SMRT again...
They had AT LEAST better kick out some of those rubbish B9s then... Outdated and does not perform v much better than the ADL (and ofc worse than the A95)

IMO they should stop ordering B9s (which are overpriced given the specs they are equipped with btw) and spend their money on the A95.. MAN has much more potential anyway

Maybe they charge more because it's local made (Comfortdelgro ) and maybe better "quality " .
To me Gemilang have improve a lot over the years on their body works . Look at 8 years ago ( scania k230ub) everyone says it's shitty Bodywork , cracking noise everywhere . (Man A22 ) Better bodywork than Scania , less crac king noise . ( MAN A95 - Almost near perfection, like it's from Germany MAN itself but still minor cracking noise not noticeable unless u listen very hard .

Think the Wrightbodied is slightly more solid than gemilang..Look how bad the condition of the A22 involved in an accidents..
And Comfortdelgro charge more $$$$$ to assemble the B9TL.You be suprised to see the price difference between 7777 and the Weg2 B9TLs.A95 bodied by Malaysia company,E500 body assemble in China.

Yea, and we are also paying more for NO PIS and CHEAPO DOORS.
Guys goes to bus (in)ga pore fave book page to see the new MAN A95 deisgn . I was right . I said in previous post that the front will have a big ass headlamp and I was right . The bodywork is identical to the 12.8m but the bus is 12M long .

The Wrights have better quality bodies than the ADL has, and are slightly cheaper than the ADL (when comparing latest batches of buses).

ADLs are 470k to 508k, Batch 4 Wrights are only 505k.

Better quality yes. Cheaper? Def not.

As I had been saying in the B9TL thread, the 5400-series and 5500-series of B9TLs are all purchased by SBS Transit in 2014...LTA only ordered 176 B9TLs in 2015 which was to be registered up to 5175...

Honestly, I believe SMRT definitely need a lot of DDs to replace a total of 154 bendy buses by the end of this year. I'm looking forward to see the DDs dominating 184 for example. To me the B9TLs are still much better than ADLs but I actually prefer A95s in general.
I was rather surprised at the rate the bendies are going off. 29 MK2s will all be gone by early March, 65 Habits and one Volgren, among which half will be gone within the span of 1.5 months (early June and mid July) and another half will be gone witihin the span of 0.5 months only (second half of August). The remaining 59 Habits all be gone within 10 days in December, especially when 40 of them had their lifespan "shortened" similar to the case of CDGE B9TLs in September 2006. It was one of the greatest surprises I had ever when pursuing the enthusiast feeling of buses.
Someone used to say that B9TLs are cheaper when bought in bulk compared to ADLs...who is that person?

I would hate the B9 much less if they are fitted to SMRT specs... I.e. PIS, sliding plug doors and all...
Actl yknow what, fuck the B9s, never liked them even since the days I was living in HK anyway... Forever underpowered to the ADL and looks ugly as fuck. Was so disgusted when 219X got so many of those in 2006... Was hoping for ADL instead

Yours truly.
