  980?Forget it la,Until now the most is they deploy an off service bus from Wldep to compliment the fleet thats all.Its only a matter of time if 167 & 980 is included into the third package.LTA should also funded more A95s for svc 169 instead of SMRT spamming more A22s.

  the OCs on 980 is AMDEP not WLDEP/WLBP. same for the random taros.

  at least put the O405G, and why is 169 WAB in the first place?

  The off service bus is usually MAN A22 from Wldep.

  Pls la you can always see a bendy on 980 every Sunday to cope with the crowd at Little India. Its normally a MK 2 (TIB980D) which is deployed

  I am talking about the weekdays deployment of only 13-14 buses not on Sundays.Weekday peak hours is the most jialat one,From 13-21 mins of waiting with fully packed buses.

  SMRT deploy DD on 180 for what when 180 have full bendy fleet? The DDs can give to other needy svcs like 167 and 980 which do not have any high-capacity buses at all.

  What 180 needs are DDs, not bendies... Although 167 and 980 do need more HC buses.

  they could do 167x981 or 980x981 if needed. if 180 ever gets full fleet DDs, pull those O405Gs and A24s onto 167, 169, 980.

  Actually, considering 180 currently only originates at Boon Lay Int and it already get so many DDs, and quite a number of routes (e.g. 181, 193 and 258) at Boon Lay get the SG-prefixed buses, I have a feeling that the future Ulu Pandan BCM will include 180 and some routes at Boon Lay Int...

  But, I thought BCM implementation is in "chronological" order, where after West and East is North and South... unless, they decide not to have depot in the South, cuz land value may be too high for bus depot... well, this is just my two cents worth.

  Many 180 commuters are long distance travellers thats why SMRT find its very useful to deploy DDs.

  Imho 167 & 980 is DD worthy..Looking at the route they passby.Spare the bendies for 859 during peak hours,They desperately need them.

  167 can have 3 DDs for a start with Wldep deploy 2 and Amdep add one more duty(DD).980 can start with 2 DDs from Wldep side.

  Yes... 167 and 980 should get 2 DDs each. They 100% will be well utilized in AM towards city and should be timed such that the two DDs don't bunch given that 167/980 routes are similar till they hit Novena.

  Yes see my loading observation on 180. 100% upper deck all the way from Lakeside to Phoenix LRT.

  180 bendies should be given to sv 187. So many rigids spamming and crazy bunching to tank load at Bukit Batok. Waste of resources. Can revert fleet back to 26 buses from 31 buses with 16 SDs, 10 bendies.

  167/980 common part is between Sembawang Road and Novena station.

  980 is fully seated before the common segment with 167 towards city.

  Those 7 newly A95s for TT?Sgwiki stated so leh..SMRT give 19 Enviros yet no DDs in return?
