I hope SBST gets Scania DDs when the BSEP Wrights go back to LTA ownership.

Should be SMB5894 then

Considering "last weekend" as what you have mentioned, it might be SMB5893S or SMB5894P...
For this week, SMB5894P has finished painting today... SMB5895L & SMB5896J are at KJDEP waiting for their turn...

I might think Amdep will received a couple too.
so is it safe to say that there is no BSEP/GCM order for A95s? if so we won't get to see A95s on Bulim svcs after the handover of buses...

Yes. I really AMDEP will take a few MAN A95s this time round. Can deploy them on 854 and 851

AMDEP really turned out to be a disappointment. Expected them to deploy more E500s on 854... and to initiate on 851, 855, 860, 980 but never happened... Nor did it do anything for the services it partially controls.

Agreed, bro. Thats why I am hoping for Sg Seletar Depot package to be out ASAP. SMRT is totally mistreating YIS/SBW.
Perhaps the reason why so is also because YIS/SBW will be taken away from them so they dont want to bother anyway. Which is a total disgrace and totally unprofessional.

There are still plenty of articulated buses (bendy buses). If don't deploy there, deploy where?
Not deploying double decker buses does NOT equate to mis-treating.
If there are no high-capacity buses deployed, then is mis-treating.
Bus waiting time still the same or shorter?
Bus still can board, or not really crowded?
If yes, then okay what.

The double decker buses are still coming in. Can wait or not?

167: 0 HC
851: 2 AP Bendies. 4 Split.
855: 0 HC
860: 0 HC
980: 0 HC
Point proven, based on your own argument.

I don't believe it costs that much for the BCs on these services to train on HCs, esp. 167, 855 and 980 where bendys had once been deployed.
Now the HCs are just sitting in the depots and gathering dust.

I think AntiDennis and AJQ answered it aptly for you.
What is the order of MANA95s?? Do we know?

Thats why. I have already asked SMRT about how many A95s will they order and they say its secret. Funny.

You received a clear answer. Try analyzing it.

You mean there is no fixed number on how many units they are ordering, that they are going to order as many as they like until they feel they have enough double decker buses?
They wont buy much la,60 units is good already consider its their own purchase not LTA.Next year LTA will take over all bus assets liao.
personally, I feel that the MAN double decker bus looks more atas than its ADL (Alexander Dennis Limited) and Volvo counterparts. maybe because of the silver colour livery and the box-like design. Okay. Whatever.
If articulated buses would only be used on feeder bus services, I think there has to be a large number of double decker buses procured to replace the outgoing articulated buses.
But how come SMRT does not want to procure more ADL Enviro500 double-decker buses instead? Could it be because the MAN double-decker may be cheaper?

I wouldn't ask why SMRT does not purchase more Enviro500s, but rather not purchase more double-deckers overall (given that we still don't know how many MAN A95s SMRT bought, and the latest rumour says 16). Choosing MAN over ADL can be put down to either price (ostensibly cheaper GML body vs ADL body) or standardisation with rest of the fleet.
