O level, didn't you know that in some sup sup school, there is no more O level already, all the way to University, still taking O level, what a joke. Singapore education system still very backdated

wow, I suggest u do more research before meeting with MOE and ur principal. If u dun wan exams, what alternatives are there? What are the norms overseas? What measures available to stop bullying? If sch ending late, what do u suggest?
I don't like sch either; mostly bcuz of the strict regime. However, I am not as philanthropic - no motivation, energy nor capability to revolutionise our system. I don't like, I simply quit sch.
Note!! Quitting sch doesn't mean not studying. No more frivolous practice such as hair check, attire check, bag check, morning assembly, caning for lateness, detention, etc. I have more time to study now. Recently, I started learning my 4th language due to the extra time I have now.

Please keep us update of your progress. :) You guys have my support. However, I would like to restate that the line "Why can't we dress and cut our hair with freedom?" is rather overboard because I believe that a stereotypical attire code should still be honoured by school students.

Recently, Aideen and I had emailed MOE and they've replied, saying they have sent our emails to the relevant departments and their officers will contact us directly. We will not be satisfied until we see then carry out measures to prevent more of such cases from happening.
A lot of you may have wondered: Why can't we dress and cut our hair with freedom? Why must we have exams and tests? Why must we wake up so early and stay in school till such a late time? Why are my teachers so biased? Are some teachers even qualified to be teachers at all?
But most of you have seen the above as norms. Where has hope and determination gone to? We must change these, to provide a better place for learning.*

Expectations:
-MOE to carry out the necessary actions, not simply talk and nothing done
Goal:
-To make every student in Singapore enjoy learning
-To reduce the number of depressed or psychological cases among students
How?
-Peaceful measures
-Email MOE our views and opinions, not stopping till they meet our expectation
-In case you don't know how MOE works, MOE actually will not ignore our emails. They read through every email carefullyI see a lot of angst, not much of any solutions.
U ask , why why why. Do u know why ? Hav u any alternative proposition to counter the whys ?
There' s reasons to all the whys, the problem is u don't know. Those who knows understands n accept..those who don't repels.
I agree, quality of teachers in Singapore is indeed very questionable. But with shortage of teaching professionals in Singapore, how do u propose we fix this problem?
Singapore follows the Uk system. That means students in other countries r subjected to the same exam based system just like u. How Do they fare under this system?
Indeed, bullying is a problem, in the USA, parents r putting their kids into self defense classes to combat bullies. A support group to combat bullies and support victims is indeed a good idea.
