Should a poor guy join dating agency?

A guy in late 20s with a diploma and contented with it. Had no intention to get a degree. Earn abit less than 2k a month (Don't act smart and ask why diploma graduates still earn less than 2k a month because he job hope and he is unlucky that the small companies that he goes to work in does not pay him the market salary)
Never have a gf before in the entire life.
Do you think he should go join events by dating agencies to look for a gf considering that most singapore women are materalistic and have a degree and earn more than 2k a month?

I know a 36 year old = he is specky - looks nerdy -stubborn - and lowly paid. No girls liked him. He was struggling to find girlfriend. Then he looked up a dating agency and found this lady who is 5 years younger than him. He asked her out - he met her once and since then they been dating for 8 months.

I guess you should let nature take it's course...Who knows you would meet a nice gal sooner or later?

But if you insist, don't go to these events and expect a miracle to happen. Just take it easy, get to know people and have fun. If the lady asks about your pay, just say it and don't play the victim card. A sensible woman would have more issues about your lack of ambition than your pay.

I know of many guys and girls who joined dating agencies and goes for their events like for 10 years already still single

poor guys do not have the material conditions to get material gals...thats for sure and applies to modern singapore..... joining dating agencies provide slightly better chance if and only if he is not choosy over the gals...most of them may not look good and pretty old as well...vice versa for gals who join dating agencies to look for rich man...but most turn out to be either too ugly beyond acceptable limits or too old aside, even if u found one at the least acceptable and wouldn't mind your poverty...divorce is still likely and to the utmost liability against men...poor + legal maintenance....= jail.... so it ends up with the rise of singles.... so, outward sourcing for foreign brides become the norm....but take care to control her such that she does not adopt "singapore materialistic gals" mentality...and treasure her for being loyal to you....

I think $500/month, you can get a very pretty foreign bride. They don't ask for much. That's also why Singaporean guys stray easily.You compare getting a prettier product for half the price with half the Singaporean girls attitude, most guys go for that! Me... I am like one of those that anyhow agree to Terms and Conditons, then click submit, then binded to a Singaporean girl, want to escape also impossible.
For your info, marry Singaporeans girls also have to support, last time my gf took $1k/month from me for many months... very tiring for me... until today i haven't really met an independent singaporean girl, maybe i am unlucky but given that i met so many sg girls, i think maybe the probability is just that. or maybe because i not handsome so met the girls always take money from me, lol.

yes thats true...but partially....so its better to fly over to source than here in singapore which most of them have been badly influenced and used to the singapore materialistic life style... another difficulty is supporting the family,,,,,thats for sure....but mostly the allowances are usually manageable comparing third world countries economy to ours....S$300 would make the family so happy for a long while...the expenses are unlike ours..... foreign brides are still the best alternative if and only if u are diligent and committed to find a good one over there..but not city gals......poor village/ rural gals are the alternative...and if u r lucky, u may find a pretty and obedient wife.... once set and fly over, do remember to treat her well as a woman and wife...but control is necessary against negative singapore effects...

so the pretty foreign bride marry you and cannot work in singapore and only get $500 a month from you.
What will she do during her free time? Everyday do housework and stay at home also very sian mah. Than if want to go out 1 month only $500 not much places can go out too.
Plus, foreigners nowadays marry singaporeans also very hard to get PR. Than they have to go back to their country and can only come back to singapore on social visit pass to find you.
You don't even know whether they got affair with another guy in their home country anot and give you green hat to wear.
Its not easy to marry foreigners too!

Dowry is inevitable but maintenance of in laws is... reasonably disputable... "We", me and my wife finance her 3 brother's education over at Vietnam....
Btw my wife is a foreign bride, not by agency.

do network swith ome successful guys and ask for recommendations ... thats one of the best and established ways towards finding your future wife.... but do note on the difficulties of attaining PR and aftermath on your kids which our authority is controlling very tight.....unless they are educated and qualify for S pass...PR is much easier....u will not want to live with your wife on social visits....that is a sad fact

Ya lor. That is why if want to find foreign wife try to find 1 that is at least a PR..But than most PR don't intent to stay long in singapore and wants to go back to their home country.
So its actually not easy to find a foreign wife also..

not necessary so when its so difficult to attain their PR status and giving it up....and most would prefer a "better" life than when they are back home unless they are being ill treated like a maid, and in worse scenario, physical abuse and violence.... with respect and all the tender loving care, a simple village/ rural gal/ or even educated (and contented) gal would stay... LOVE is still achievable if u got it at the right time, place and with all your heart....

upgrade take degree got a 50% risk that you fail your degree, waste your time and money.even if pass your degree, no guarantee that you can find a good job and stay long in it
