she lost my expensive earphones a week ago and said that she'll buy an even more expensive one for me. she didn't tell me where. we are going tonight and she say that we'll be going to geylang. im only 13. will i get weird looks in geylang since its a redlight district? my mother has friends who work there (not as prostitutes. most of them are males) and she said that i'll be meeting them for awhile too. would it b awkward, since its in geylang? in my class people r always making fun of geylang. i tot its cos of the name but when i looked geylang up on the internet it says that its a red light district. she don't know how to buy the earphones i want cos she doesn't speak english and is uneducated. and she refused to give me money to buy the earphones! she say she want us to go store and buy. if i don't go it means that i'll have to buy the earphones myself when shes the one who lost them! :( wat do i do?? should i buy them myself or go with my mother?

geylang is a place where all the world smartest students gather together to study and all the professors hold their breakthrough discussions on how to improve the planet... not to mention the presidents from world over come to hold meetings at the coffeeshops there... so don't worry too much.
