yeah i did... i asked her to promise me to stop taking drugs and stop smoking... but not able to be there 24/7 means i cannot monitor her lah... but very hard to change a person... my thinking is the only person who can change himself/herself is only themselves.the original forum was chit chat and original title was "god playing a joke on me lah" or something like that.

This is a girl whom I know I won't want to be with but I am also not willing to hurt her feelings. I did asked her to find a boyfriend and everytime I do, I got scolded by her. And looking at her sad makes me feel sad, because I wish I could do something but it's beyond my ability. And that makes me feel so hopeless.Anyway I don't think I want to fall for her. I just want to be her good friend (that explains why I never want to go into a sexual r/s because it will complicate matters). Problem is she takes me as her bf the way she introduce me to her family, I'm like omg but in front of the family, I don't want make her feel awkward.

she might commit suicide if u toy with her feelings and her ghost will come back to haunt u.keep it like any nice human friendship. -
You should try to distance yourself from her. Find some excuses or say you are interested in another girl. She might grow too dependent on you, or you might give in to temptation on one passionate night.
These things don't stay the same over time. They only get better or worse.

You have to make it clear to her that you're not interested in her. But at the same time, you must take caution to make sure she does not take it the wrong way... or too hard. God knows what might happen. Also, don't show any indications of any kind that you "love" her. My advice is, spend some time, write a note or send her a long SMS. Tell her how you feel. Don't go over to her house anymore, as it will only make you feel awkward.
