Real soundproofing are exceptionally expensive....sounds and noise can still penetrate through the doors and windows....so no point....after spending soooo much, still not effective...move out lah....that's the best option....

9) Kill the upstair neighbour and dump their bodies in Bedok reservoir - Hmm, tempting but very hard to smuggle out bodies for disposal.
So option 5, 7 and 8 unless there are better suggestions.
Better put a bad spelll/cure on your nosy neighbour, like buy a cross or chinese octagon mirror, make them go mad

Many people do not understand what is the real true of karma, karma is not bad, it is both bad and good, it is a reflection, your noisy neighbour will one day face their reflection, if not from you, it will from someone who bought your house. Once you let your neighbour taste their own karma, meaning what they did get reflected, they become quiet, and for you, you did a good deed, because the whole neighbourhood become peace and quiet, and your karma will be good -

I never believe in buddha and I am not buddhist, because buddha is already in you, the doctrine ask you to seek the middle way, the extreme will make one impossible to take it and in return, become insane and violent, the lowest is too easy to attain that one will take it for granted, it is like eating, eat moderately, even if it is abalone or some good stuff, you just cannot keep eating it

again you are not enlighted in buddhism, buddha is not a religion, it is a teaching of life, those who go pray and kowtow one, I have no comment, but if you read the sutra from the lotus to the 10 worlds sutras, buddha already tell you he is no god, but a teacher

There was once when one of my neigbours who invite their friends to the house. all are freaking china ppl and they rent the unit somemore... making so much noise. talk like no other ppl bussiness, TV on so loud, all @ 12am still noisy. I bo bian then i call police. then police come up knock knock door. Guess what the china ppl say to the police.... "Policeman... Sorry We are from china and that the way we speak. I like it loud and noisy. (of course it in chinese speaking) the police also lan lan. cannot do anything. next thing they do is slam the door hard. and I was like what the fark...... Can chase ppl away if they just rent the flat here and not own them legally?

Then you invite bangalas or south indian workers to your house, on the bangalas music, enjoy, party, do some belly dancing and play top new bollywood songs and dance the night away. Those bangalas and indians at nite got nothing much to do in their dormitory, so order 2 bus load will do, each collect $5 for food, I guess within one week, yr neighbour will kneel down infront of you begging for forgiveness
Oh, alternatively, vietnam peoples also can, I live in joo chiat, the vietnamese is 10 times more noisy than chinese, that I can promise, to them, talking loud is courtesy

That is the way mah, you go by the laws, you get nothing, Singaporeans are well behave people, but they get bullied easily, first by their govt, then by their foreign counterpart, then later, the foreigner childrens. The smart way then is to use foreigner to bite on foreigner, then we sit back and watch
