In Singapore, we have a stupid law which classifies this as an obscene act in a publc place or something like that. It's like having sex in public.
You should have pushed past that stupid cleaner and got out of there. I would have shoved those assholes out of the way. It was none of their fucking business. If need be, it would have been worth resigning and never going there again, to avoid being caught.
I feel for you but worry that it might be too late. Those brainless fucks think everything is illegal for a good reason. Most buildings' managements would notify the tenant for minor things like smoking, let alone this episode.
