if u're 40s, time to find a reason but still must attend
if u're 50s, time to find a reason not to attend
if u're 60s, u shldn't be attending much wedding...
if u're 70s, good luck...

when u are 30, u attend baby full month parties
when u are 40, u attend friends' parents funerals
when u are 50, u start atteding friends' funerals
when u are >60, ppl come attend your funeral

I don't base on age to attend any event. I base on the quality of the friendship or relationship.
I see no point attending wedding from persons who offer betrayal, backstabbing, malicious gossip and so on, painful for me to part with my money to give it to such people who don't deserve. Not worth it!
