he could have many ppl to turn to when he's sad... why only come to you? Did you tink of that? and if he is genuinely sad... will he say something like "I may not have many things, but I do have something that you'r interested in" this sounds more like a pick up line.
No need to do much... continue to ignore him. He can't get u he'll jus go find someone else.
You can never find out if he is really sad.. or just faking sad.
