for the sake of that friend not recognizing it's me, i won't post here, but it's less than $3k. bills owed more than 10 months and only recently i was informed of the problem because if not they will cut my lines. i have my internet and a few lines with them so lan lan have to pay because otherwise clients call me can't find me then i lose even more money... -

Nope. Nothing got solved. Things got worst. The line got terminated and the bill shoot up to over 1k. Filed a police report after asking Starhub customer service officer. Pray that I only need pay the overdue phone bills only.

Haven't you taken my advice?You signed for the line, and your friend run away. You are liability to pay for the bill and the equipment charges. Ask for the 6 month interest free installment, and move on.

Darm it. Starhub send me a letter by Yeo-Leong & Peh LLC demanding payment within 7 days.
That "friend" just contact me and say can only pay and reconnect the bills after CNY. So how now? I went down to Starhub Service Centre and she said I have till April to pay up and reconnect the line. Then say their letter is part of their SOP when payment not made after 4th month. The person called just to check when I can pay up. Even though Starhub said April... They like very eager that I pay up asap so they can earn their commission. I don't really blame them but still, consider our side of stress when you only ask when the payment is made only...
But still, I also need to prepare to submit a Magistrates' Complaints if he still don't bloody pay up as this is going to be a case of cheating soon...

As I have told you, YLP LLC will acts as the debt recoverer and will try to nego for 0% installment plan over 6 months with starhub.
