I think it is unwise to assume and generalize that all women who make or can make babies are mothers! Ts, obviously by her posting here speaks volumes of her apprehension, fears and most of all her unpreparedness. As to whether she changes her mind or not to abort or keep is something only she can understand and assume responsibility. I lament this moralizing about abortion or ... which ultimately is for TS to decide - if she chooses to keep or not keep - she must have her reasons. U are free to spout what comes to u here, I stand by my opinions and anyone is free to muse over them, ignore or even label them. That does not cancel out what is.

I have to 2nd fugazzi... the support is lacking in Singapore. The best option us to give the child up for adoption which, imo, is worse than abortion....

Killing one and getting rid is denying his/her existence.

The TS needs help. Her greatest problem is fear. Fear is fear, no need to make a of list what she is fearful of.
The only person who can help, and give her support for whatever she/they decide is her mother. If the mother after giving TS a piece of her mind, is not going to help her, then TS is on her own.
It is then that she should seek the help any of the agencies listed on Page 1.
It is best the mother knows. She may help, or make things worse for TS, but the truth is out and TS won't be living a life of cover ups and deception.

I see an emotional appeal in your 3rd sentence. How is it genocide if its legal to abort? How is it genocidal in the 1st place? I call straw man.
You failed to see TS predicament clearly.... If removal of the fetus means a better quality of life to the mother, I don't see any way right for others to say otherwise to deny the mother such rights, the right for a better living, by choice.

Most of us tend to forget that in all the threads being posted here, we tend to label, pass judgements , advice, offer opinions but seem so unaware to our own conditionings, our own hangups (emotional/psycho/baggage) and unwittingly foist our prejudiced/bigoted ''ways'' with nary a care to the individuality of that person. As to whether, he/she is cognizant of that individuality is not relevant. One can go on arguing/discussing ad finitum on the pros and cons of abortion/childbirth and justify one's stance. However, to me, it is unpardonable that it is imposed on another - it is disrespectul of another. Telling another what to be or not to be is taking away what the essence is of an individual.

i think the question of when exactly a fetus is considered a life (therefore abortion = murder) is still raging at this point. imo when the nervous system is developed to the point where a sensation of pain from the aborting can be felt, the process becomes cruel for the helpless.
