my grandma

My grandma has no senile or dementia. But recently, i suspect that she had stolen my ring, my house keys, pens and coins in my piggy bank.
When confronted, she at first say she thought the ring is hers but return already, later on say the ring is on the dining table then when asked again, she say she did not take and deny totally.
She likes to flip her words like prataman and is very money minded according to all my aunty and uncles. All my aunty and uncles kick her like soccer ball as they all have problem with my grandma.
I'm quite fed up with my grandma because she refuse to return the ring to me and keep denying. Wanted to ransack her stuffs but my dad told me to forget it as i might blow up the matter.
How can i retrieve my stuffs....?

This is not applicable for my grandma.
1) she once said if my dad make it big, she will be knock down by car
2) when my dad was in coma for a week she did not even bother to call and ask. instead, pack her bag and run as far as possible because she was afraid that if my dad passed away, there will be bad luck.
3) she chase my dad and mom out of the house when my dad give her allowance late (back to those days)
4) she make my mum sweep floor with feather duster when she was 7mth pregnant
5) she anyhow sprout rumours and say that my uncle was sleeping with his maid just because my uncle's family treat their maid well
6) she always tell neighbour that nobody buy food for her but in fact she always claimed that she is full and throw the food (nicely packed and is still Hot) away

She is Over 80. think 85 this year. but the thing is. her family life damn long one. My great grandma live till age 105 then die. her siblings all 80 plus still around. Even my grandpa is turning 100 this year..

Your grandma is showing signs of "worning out" "wearing out". The stage before death some old people will behave strangely. Pardon me I am not saying that she is dying soon. Alternatively, your grandma may be having some problems and these are manifesting in her behaviour.

My grandma said, human after 80yo is consider reborn, if they still lives on, it is a new age, so if your grandma is 85yo, her mentality is just a 5yo kid, the only way is to treat her like a kid, and to gel with kid, you need to behave like a kid inorder to communicate with her.

If it is not possible to retrieve the items......I suggest you just consider it that you gifted those items for her.......

my grandma also very old. not very senile but like to act senile leh.. sometimes i feel like vomitting blood after telling her one thing and she totally forgot about it after 5 minutes. but when she calculating money, even i cant beat her.

One of my previous ex ex girlfren, her grandma also like tis wan. Last time she used to be closed to her grandma but when she came back from overseas studies, her grandma changed. Don't recognise her anymore and not even speak to her. Then her grandma started taking her things and kept them under her bed. When ask, she said it is her things and ask some other time, she completely forgot. My ex ex galfren neva understood her grandma, all of the sudden the grandma became very difficult, always walk out from the home and then dunno how to come back, luckily the neigbour spotted her loitering around and took her back home, to our shock, becuase we thought something happen to her.
My ex ex galfren completely detach from her granny bcause she neva understood what is wrong with her. So the family sent her to old folks home. But last year, i heard from a fren, she past away. My ex ex galfren cry a lot, regretting that she didn't spend a lot of time wif her granny.

Long ago, one of my gal fren told me her ex boyfriend left her just because she had a dementia grandma, and he was a Doctor. What a waste, the reason for leaving was that this Dr bf worried that my gal fren will become like her grandma when she grow old, I told her to tell the Doctor go screw himself -
