Well, I'm no Sherlock Holmes. But the husband is the 罪é�祸首 here.
What i can deduce is that the likely scenario would be the mother is still young and pretty.
She sees no future with this useless husband of hers and does not want to let her youth just fade away. Most probably some other guy is wooing her, she rather just pack up and leave. She regards the kids as a burden so leaves them for her husband. " They are your responsibility now ", something.
TS, the most important thing now is to get any relatives of the family to take care of these 2 poor children 1st. At least make sure the children dont starve and have a decent place to stay and sleep.
Children without their mama really very ke lian. Pains my heart man~

Report to the police.
The father and family should call all the banks and freeze all the accounts held by her. In that case, joint account.
That is a very irresponsible mother, took all the money (I asssume) and f. off without her 2 children.

That means the money this woman took was earned by her in the first place. Get the connection ?
She left to start up somewhere with someone else perhaps, and will come back for her children once she has settled down.
The problem is.. if the father of the children are holding these children hostage as a mean to hold the mother back.. then it will be hard for the mother to claim her own children in the future.
There's always two sides to a coin..and then there's the truth.
You must be the relative on the father's side, yes ?
For the benefit of the children.. please seek elders support and tell the father not to go it alone. The more family support the better the children will be. But it does not mean they replace the mother entirely.
It is best to encourage CO-PARENTING , and not let hatred and spite ruin the life of these innocent children.

Does the father really want to change?
If the father refuse to even care or give a direction even after his wife had left him, how can anyone change that?
If you want a simple solution, just change the father since he is the cause of the problem.

I'm helping a student with a runaway mother and an overworked father too. It ain't no plate of gravy, I can tell you that.

A FULL-TIME national serviceman (NSF) and a 17-year-old were charged in court yesterday with robbing a taxi driver who was slashed in the neck.
Yeo Zhao Long, 20, and schoolgirl Ngo Shu Min allegedly attacked Mr Koh Kia Heng, 57, with a paper-cutter blade in Changi in the early hours of last Saturday. They are said to have made off with $179. A 14-year-old girl has also been charged.
In a separate case, an 18-year-old woman was charged yesterday with trying to rob a cabby while armed with a Swiss Army knife. Yeo Yoke Chang allegedly carried out the attempted robbery on Ms Teo Hong Lang, 55, in Sengkang on Saturday night.

I think the father must be brave here, nevermind if the wifey had ran away, my take is mostly, the mother is a foreigners, either thai, viet or pinoy or even indo who had formerly worked in some night spot, the father got to know her and then get married, at first everything was rosy, till the mother cannot withstand the poor state of the father or has had another lover who can care for her more with $$, so, she take whatever she could and neglect the family once and for all.

Then the mother came back and wanting something from her, but she refused to acknowledge her. I hope the mother who neglected her 2 kids will live to regret one day.

Ya, especially those exotic looking chicks from foreign land, try to look for down to earth gal like me, and some of sg gals who are also responsible, tho fat and no so nice looking, but they got responsibility, can really take care of family, and most are virgin.

Recently my neighour stick to one vietnam lady.
He broke off with a local lady recently due to that foreign cute and sexy chick.
I pity that local lady for she is a nice lady even though she dont have the pretty looks compare to the foreign chick.
I am counting the days and see how long my friend will last. Once his money no more, the foeign chick will also be no more.

Ya, pity those bespected, no shape and dunno how to doll up sg gal, study and work all their life but never know how to tame a man.
My foreign gal here all are well trained, due to coming from poor countries, they ate less and work physically during youngs, so tend to be sexy in shape, strong and cheerful, and are well taught by their mother to serve and con men.
