I have a serious problem and I don't know what to do...
I feel very alone...
My Facebook got about 600+ friends
But in real life I feel so alone even though I am chatting online with so many people.
My birthday just passed not too long ago. Lots of well wishes on my wall; but nobody bothers to call me and wish me well...
Do you feel we become very superficial ah? Do for the sake of it or for convenience sake? I also admit I seldom call anyone to wish them Happy Birthday anymore.
Got many Facebook friends but all are like strangers.
Kinda of like ex-gf likedat... they know what's going on with you but don't talk to you...
Do you guys feel this way?

This is common. You have 600+ friends in your facebook but they are not your real friends.
Filter your friends and get some real friends who you can hang out with.

Totally agree with all the above three responses. Two words: spring cleaning. Trash out those who are foolishly competing for the I've-the-most-"friends"-on-facebook award. Dig out the ones whom you know you (can) click with, talk lots online, then go offline and talk some more. Who knows? You may find that special someone through it. Initially, I had a zillion friends on Friendster.com. (That was years ago, by the way.) Decluttered thoroughly and made the effort to create and nurture real relationships with chosen ones online and then offline and guess what? Found my dream guy. Celebrating our two-year wedding anniversary in a couple of months.

so what if u added 20 "frens of frens"?
just to have more ppl to invite to ur wedding? -

Next time we don't have to go out to work, work from home. Go out with frens oso, we go into virtual world instead wif our avatars.

Indeed.. You have to just ask those closer friends of yours to meet up regularly. Why don't you pick up ur hp now and just sms 10 people who come to your mind and ask them if they wanna meet up for dinner/movie/supper/movie or whatever. Don't suggest any date or time. Let them do the suggesting. You just have to take the initiative sometimes pal.
All you need to sms is "Hey, free for <whatever goes here> anytime?". As simple as that! Just do it already :) 600 friends! If even 1% respond and meetup, thats already 6 friends to keep you busy everyday of the week. Sunday you spend with family la.. :lol:

i have close to 100 friends on my list. thats not much. but those who are true friends, out of the 100, only 3 or 4 are my true friends. majority are my colleagues or ex colleagues.
