i only have 5 months left in this class and ill be moving up to JC. my class is one of the worst in terms of academic standard and (in my opinion) attitude as well. some of us are so motivated to study hard so that we will not have to see these people again in our JC classes. if i get into the same class as this obnoxious boy next year, i swear i am going to transfer out of this school.

If you study hard and he is those average, then I am sure you will not be in the same class of him anymore.

this is not the first time he has done something like that to someone as my friend happened to be a victim as well a few years ago. he screamed at her outside the classroom until students in other classes came out to see the commotion. he even wanted to hit her, but was stopped in time by the class leader. he does this to both girls and boys and when he doesnt like someone, he will threaten that person like how he threatened my friend to making the whole level of students hate her.
he also dislikes my other classmate and as a result, we both now feel this dread of coming to school and seeing his face. and no, i do not want to confront him or talk to him because he is just not going to listen and he will just scream and shout like a maniac. i have been ignoring his hurtful gestures since the incident had happened. what is the proper way to deal with this?
For this type of person, he only wants to win, no lose...

his results is above average in my class but he's still below me (and i will not allow him to be better than me). i believe that such people will get the punishment they deserve when they enter the society in the future and i choose to believe that with such an attitude, he won't go far. to put it simply, he has severe behavioural issues. maybe he's so pampered and his parents simply do not teach him mannerism at home. idk.

Since you already know his attitude and character well, it is time to move on and ignore him at all cost. Let him win by all means. Let him happy and let him laugh and let him spread all his nonsense to his buddies.
What you do now is study hard, get into good JC and say good bye to him.

he gets workup too easily, but from what i know, some of these people have this kind of uncontrollable anger problem...

im staying in the same school for 6 years. no choice. even if he's not in my class next year i still have to endure his face when i walk past him in corridors (which is when i have to hitch up my file or anything in my hand so that my eyes dont bleed at the sight of his irritating face)

It could be a genuine ADHD issue. Even though our MOE-NIE educators have experienced in teaching, many still unable to pick up ADHD student effectively. Identifying ADHD student is not about just attending a module of lesson, it's about interacting with many types of students for a period of time.
Most of our educator are not able to identify ADHD students.
Only allied educators or counsollers have the necessary expertise and knowledge. -
