I been looking at HDB site and realized that I cant purchase a new flat unless I got married or apply wit my mum with bank loan since she had utilised HDB home loan twice. Even if I wait till im 35, I can only buy a resale flat.
Marriage is a no-no for me, and bank loan is not something I wanna deal with.
I checked under HDB rental scheme and its somehow similar to buying a new flat. Unless Im already 35 with a friend of same age.
Forming the family nucleus ithe only way to easily get a flat but I cant since my dad is the main problem in the family. Living with him has made me and my family's life depressing. Since my mum refused to take any action against him, I decided that I have to move out to avoid all the unnecessary negative experiences.
Is there other any option for me?
Rental starts from $500 per room at suburb per month.

Nowadays church will let you stay for free??
I know beach, under flyover and void deck will result in Vivian Balakrishnan's squad picking you up n bringing you to their shelter for strays.
HDB flats are affordable.
Really.
It was rumour that the executive administrator had an typo error....
HDB (*rental*) flats are affordable....
Now in the mist of covering up the typo mistake...
HDB flats are affordable..
whats the problem with applying for a 1 room or 2 room hdb resale flat by yourself?
not enough money?
resale flat will cost more...COV plus renovation..
if i buy new premium flat, where the tiles, windows, doors and lights are included it be cheaper...i just need to fork out for wardrobes, cabinets, furnitures and electrical appliances..
and yes, im looking at 2 rm at least..3 rm if i can gt a friend with me...

if you are single you can only buy resale flat
buy a smaller one like 2 room which won't cost that expensive..
yes that maybe my last option if i really dont get married. but will have to wait 5 yrs before i can apply. im still about to turn 30. and these 5 yrs i can save up.
why not marry a foreign bride and when she become a PR or singaporean than can buy a new flat together
then u grit ur teeth and wait for 5 years
or find someone who will marry you in name only.

Why not deal wif bank loan? Everybody's got a bank loan. Discuss wif the bank on how to strategize yer monthly payments. Just visit number of banks and ask them on their instalment plans, compare them. Don't write off the bank option. Check it out first.
See tis as an investment. Who knows, when u get anotehr property, u could rent tis one out in future.

Migrate out of here, then come back as a PR, a talented PR, you can get a new smaller HDB.

What for? Moment we leave, PAP will replace us with better, cheaper and faster migrants from PRC. By then, we would have lost our chance of coming back.

Like this ah, then u go China and be a PRC, then come back here, sure get a nice job, and within a year, get HDB, and so on, isn't it faster than being a Singaporean here.
