Parents bring up girls in SG to be independent so that they will not be cheated by their partners and able to stand on their 2 feet if anything happens.
Whereas for the guy, they are still brought up with traditional values, thus resulting in the mis-match.
Anyway, if you want a wife to stay at home to cook, clean and look after the family, make sure you hv the means to do so, if not seriously you will be better off to find someone who can help bring home the bacon as well.

Everybody has to admit that sg ladies are hard to woo lah and they have a lot of expectations. But playing hard to get scares a lot of decent guys away.
Well right now i ask a lady friend to help if she can intro any girls to me, she promised that she will help to look around.
I also go know some malaysian girls and one of them if she gives me the chance to I duno i should woo her anot. I dun really like her =\

I don't know... I feel that malaysian girls are very hardworking in terms of their studies and schoolwork!
But culture wise, malaysian and singaporean can get together quite easily. As for viets and sg, it'll take some time... -

Yes you are spot on about malaysian girls from which state. But we are singaporeans how to woo those far far away one wor. KL so far .. can woo also cannot maintain lah ..
But one drawback is that msian girls get attached very young one. You will find that its harder to find msian girls at their 20s who are still single than in spore loh.

Oh yaa ... theres also a thread here right .. I read some guy also posted his China bride went back to care for her sick mother and then no more news from her le.But why so funny, marry over le then run back to China? Makes you wonder if like that, then why go through all this trouble to marry guy here in the 1st place? Only to run back home after some time ..??
