most people with education always got mind blocking problem. same goes to angle. people will ask for alternative choice if they wanted to. else offerring alternative choice when not asked is call doing extra unappreciative work. sames goes to sg govt. it is their policies that result in this situation. mind blocking is so serious that they claim that it is not the policies. doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result is call insanity.

Cooking and other housework should be shared by both parties and is not the sole responsibility of the female only.
If you criticize the females for lacking housework skills.....just think.....do you really believe the males are better than them in those skills ?

i listen to 98.7fm when a men can cook and do house work. i can do both. it is a bonus. when a women can do it is just fulling a women responsiblity. so if a women cant do? educated women will mind blocked here.

Yea....but that may work in the past when women were mostly housewife who can stay at home full-time........so of course naturally they would handle more housework......
Nowadays most (younger) women are actually working and they work full-time.....no difference than the men......
So imagine if the traditional gender role still persists when the situation is actually already changing......imagine if the guy expects the woman to handle cleaning, cooking, etc, while the woman actually is just as tired as the man....This can cause problems and unhappiness......

Yeah what were the jobs women tend to hold in the past?
Receptionist, Secretary, Admin work etc basically work that don’t require a lot of responsibility and basically support work.
Women these days are executives and managers. They have to travel, lead in projects, meetings etc
How many women these days can finish work at 5 or 6 pm to go home and cook and do housework?
So essentially you are saying that men can go home to relax but women who hv the same workload and responsibilities outside do not hv the right to rest at home after work but must slog at home too

Very well said but i believe this issue can still be resolved if the lady wants to. My mum used to knock off work at 7+ and reaches home only at 8 plus. But she'll still cook for us as long as we are willing to wait till 9pm to eat dinner. I still tink that younger generations of females(or perhaps those i personally know) refuses/cant cook.Common excuses like troublesome or the "i dun like to wash plates and cookery are usually given" What appears scary about sg females are their pragmatic persue of monetary gains i tink. But even though they cant/do not like to cook, they can still do housework though. But i believe that things like these shouldn't be labelled as"girls need mothers to teach them how to cook/do housework" because things like these are to be shared b/w the guy and the girl. Work+housework+cooking can be exhausting so best way to go about it is to share the load.Thats probably something for the TS to tink about? -
I dont think its a big issue whether a girl can do housework anot. I dont think its a must these days and most guys wont mind one. As long as the lady is a good girl at heart, guys will appreciate her for sure.
But what actually puts guys off are the unrealistic demands and stuck up attitudes of many singaporean women. A lot of singaporean women tend to have the mentality to ask & think of what can the guy do for me, rather than what can I do for my guy.
My bf has to do this for me, my bf has to do that for me. Not often will you hear a sg girl saying I hope to do this for my bf.
Bf becomes like an accessory, not someone dear to you loh.

Sometimes he is in charge of the cooking if he is even in SGBasically, our housework is shared and each of us have our own set chores because we do certain things better.
What I'm saying is that due to changes in roles these days, it's ideal it's shared, if not just hire a maid and get over with it. It's unrealistic to expect the female to bear the entire burden on her own.
