TS: you better learn from your experience..$1,300 might seems alot to you now..but tell you the truth..it's dirt cheap to learn such an experience
just reflect on what went wrong, review how you can do better, and never ever repeat the same dumb mistake by first offering financial assistance to somebody whom you don't know or aren't close with.

Go on. Find a new job and tell your family members you lost your iphone. You can get a newer better iphone eventually.
Who knows. She might really be in trouble. Dying/dead at the moment. Treat it like you did a good deed and forget about it.
But learn to be less believing and less accomdating to people that might be using you.
BTW, I am a cancer patient victim myself. And treatments are not cheap. You did good, though it was a bit naive. But dont beat yourself over it. People as good hearted as you, should learn to get over it and move on.
Life is better off when you learnt lessons and still continue to do good.

For heaven sake, i dun do this type of thing one, people also got mother and father, heart and soul hor. The most I chop is on eating and shopping, never take cash.

She had promised me many things like paying for my paris trip, offering me 10k as a savings and all. Of course I found it too good to be true. Why I offered my cash was bcuz i think its a risk I must take to see if she is really genuine or not. But the risk wasnt worth at all.
Now Im left with nothing. I sacrificed my job, my Iphone and my cash for her. And I got no money to get a new Iphone. I need to get it asap otherwise my family will lecture me if they found out what I did.
So can I make a police report about this? I dont think so I can as I lack evidence.

Me dumb dumb - met a girl - who tell me that she dying and want to bring me to to europe. I greedy want to go there to have sex with her.
Then I dumb dumb pass her money - without any receipt or prove.
Now i got no money, no girl and no sex !!!
