hais.. i got no where to go.. i want to take law in but i got f9 sia.. and i dont think i can JPDAE into tp.. cause i only got a b4 for my cca..
heres my results:
eng b3
lit b3
art b4
chi c6
comb humans c6
comb sci c6.
L1R2B2 = 3+3+4+9+6
=25 ..
-1 cca pt = 24.
how sia.. open the booklet liao only got 3 course and its ite. i dont want to go ite! should i retake?? is it worth it? or should i go private school? HELP PLEASE.
ITE is not = Its The End..
and why wouldn't you wanna go ITE..
i know its not the end.. but i have no interest sia in the courses they offer..
in that case you retake..
and iirc, some pte sch may need at least an ITE cert to enter..
ok.. should i just retake math? or should i retake some more? like my comb? law COP is 14.. so if i can get b3 for both subject then my L1R4 is 16. then can appeal go in? what do you think?
hais blame myself during o lv still fooling around
if you think you can do better in more subjects then retake more..
anyway, it's too late to regret since the Os are oreadi over..
ya. too late.. but i want to give myself a second chance :(
then do yourself a favour by putting in extra effort for your retake..
Hmm let's calculate by the age shall we?
if you retake O level's Maths and other subjects, it is at most 1 year and subsequently additional 3 years to poly or 2 years to A Levels. Then a degree.
If you go ITE, you will spend a few years(not sure of time needed to complete ITE cert), after that a poly, then perhaps degree.
If you take private, you end up still need to clear maths as I believe it is a core subject to pass. Still need 1 year.
From the options you have, I strongly suggest you to spend 1 year to retake O levels. 1 subject is fine, but better to clear a few more at the same time, just to widen your choice.

Hi.
That is what I call an un-constructive comment.
It's never too late to try to improve your life.
So what even if you are a year or two late? It can be made up by working hard and working smart.
haha ok.. i will redo some of my subjects!
@maxsee thanks ah -.-
1 more question.. in term of law this kind of thing.. poly or private law school better? crossed out jc. for some reason dont like
go private sch/cert face harder competition to get govt job in future.
if you think you really can't commit 100% to work harder for the retaking of o's, then go private liao, don't waste time.

Private law school. Then study for an overseas degree and work overseas.
This may sounds like a joke, but to be honest to you, the amount of poly graduates who get into law in NUS/SMU from TP each year can be counted with 1 hand.
If you study oversea degrees, they may not recognise it and allow you to take the bar exam here in SG.
Of course, if you want to study law to be an assistant/secretary to a lawyer instead of being a lawyer, you can go to TP and take their diploma.

i can commit. cause wake up already. >_>
however i feel that if i have to chance to go into a private law school without resitting for the exam.. why not go for it? and why is it hard? is it because some certs/diplomas not recognisable in sg?
Go ITE, I'd say waste of time if you can't hit poly with NITEC.
Retake your O's, Make sure you work hard.
Retake your subjects or o level. Why ? Save time and money. Ite is 2 years, private skl is fking expensive. Try to score well this time and if you have the disclipline, you can take a part time job to save some money as well

Furthermore you waste your time even further if you can't go to poly within these 2 years.
Go private school as it is easier to pass with flying colours. If you have bigger parent scholarship, go oversea schools to get yourself a degree. When you come back from oversea, you are just as good or even better to the local U students. I seem so many cases.
