Is it possible to not attend school to take O level result?

My friends are speculating that the O level results would be released on 10~12 Jan 2011. I am getting very anxious and i have a burning question; can i not go to school to take my result?
Firstly, i really hate my biased form teacher whom always criticise me infront of the whole class, thus it would be best if i wont see her face anymore.
Secondly, i am afraid i would score below my expectation and you know during the result session, secondary 3 students would be present and they confirm will ask me about my result. I am also trying to avoid attention as, confirm plus chop, would have people asking me how i did. Thus , i wanna "save face".

Get a MC on the day before, call up your school, and tell them you will come on another day.

Be brave and go collect your results slips / report book.
Nothing to be ashame of.
Be proud of yourself.
If you fare below your expectation, next year study harder.

Ulimately Ts knows that he will not be getting good results (come on, everyone knows how they will roughly fare after their papers) and thus, he's just trying to avoid being embarrassed.

Ask your parents to write a letter with a valid reason (example - gone overseas) and then you can collect the certs from the general office after the release of results....
Anyway, I advise you to go... your teacher has no time to criticise you on the day of release of results... if you wanna escape... leave the hall after you take your cert... do not loiter around in the school hall... your teacher has 40 students.... and he/she has to call one student up one by one to collect the cert at the schol hall.... so the most he/she will say is just a few words of criticisms at most....
And oso its the last time you get to see your classmates and other teachers.... just go school say hi oso dun wan ah.... -

I suggest you go instead of skipping it before you lose "faces" in the future.

What if you scored above average in your class? You would have missed the ONLY CHANCE IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFETIME to smirk at the form teacher you detest so much.
...but seriously, if you didn't collect it on the release date, they'll simply call you up and tell you to collect your cert when you're free.

If you run now, for your whole life you will start running when the going gets tough.
O level results is only the starting of your life.
Regardless whether you do well or not, is something you have put lots of effort for.
Life still has many new challenges yet to come.

Yes, it is possible not to collect O Level result on the date of results. You can collect it from your general office as soon as possible (maybe next day). :)
