Not long ago, I met this female on a friend's party. I don't know her initially but I have to admit that I am a bit attracted to her. Later in the party, we chat up a bit and she offers her hp number to me and she "accidentally" touch my hand for whatsoever reason. I reciporated by adding her on facebook and msn - being friends first though.
Everything sounds pretty cool until I added her on facebook and msn - she turns out to be an insurance agent! She lures me out for a date and tries to hard-sell me a policy, which I politely rejected eventually. I thought I got the hint till she starts talking to me every 3 weeks or so, asking me about my life and wanting to meet up to pass me some stuff. Surprisingly, she didn't talk or hard-sell any policy to me during the meetup! We meet up a few time after that, and still no hard-selling or talk about insurance??!!
In fact, I decided to end this weird relationship by pretending to be romantically interested in her - I initiated dates, claiming only 1-to-1, hoping she will be freaked out at the end. But she reciporated all my dates =.=
So out of curiosity, will a greenhorn insurance agent be so nice to waste her time on a lousy lead (I avoid any topic about insurance & she claims she is very busy)? or she is truly interested to know me as a friend?

Thanks AYYX and DailyFreeGames for your opinions. In fact, I have the same sentiment as you guys but just need some third party opinions on these mere facts which I claimed. However, it is still possible that she did all this to entertain a prospective client (which is me) ...

I would say a typical insurance agent, especially if greenhorn she is as you mentioned, won't go through all that trouble (1-on-1, dates and all), and will prolly get the message and give up after 1 or 2 times...
Unless you suay suay tio sniper calibre de la... 这个世界是有女阻击手的...

I still think that her objective is to sell u insurance. Maybe she green horn and desperate, so even a bad lead she also want to pursue?

@ AYYX: I agree with you on the part of typical insurance agent. But what do you mean by sniper type (those aim long long and will eventually get you one)?
@ Demon Bane: I have the same thought as you initially. But if she is desperate, she will want to meet me (I dated her) within a week and not drag for a couple of weeks later stating that she is busy? The funniest part is meet me up and chit chat only, no policy, nothing - only once in a while ask me to introduce some leads if I wanted ... (she didn't even bother to ask me for referrals, which is pretty common in the industry)

I don't intend because I torn between dilemma - as stated I am attracted to her but is she? Other considerations include the period we know each other (a few months only), her job nature has a bad reputation, we only meet like 3 - 4 times (exclude the first meeting, the rest is really chit chat and movie), and most importantly her intent is blurred by her action.

If she is keen in you, she will share with you more about her personal life and go on more 1 to 1 dates with you. Whether she likes you or not as her potential steady boyfriend, you can only know if you pop her the question. Until then, we can only guess her motives.

Thanks Aquatic Crystal, but it is too early. 4 months + 4 meetings = steady too fast liao lol. Btw, both of us are in our early twenties.

I think u analyze too much already....just ask her more direct. If no, just be casual frens loh....

Maybe she dates all her clients, convince them to buy millions worth of insurance, marry them, get them to put her as benefictiary and than kill them. You know, like a black widow spider. Yeah...that must be it. Either that or she likes you.
