If the housing and cars in SG are cheaper, more people (overseas) will be happy to move back to SG...but for now, its just not happening...

I have frens that moved to Australia....some are happy some are not....so its not necessarily a good decision to leave SG....

I must agree with you....SG is preferred for the rich nowadays....do you still meditate or chant mantras everyday after you left your master?

Sure, in the morning only, that is to wake me up, my master said, buddhism is a very self motivation thing, by meditation, you lift your own spirit for the day, and with a high and jovious spirit, you inspire others that talk to you or chat with you, so, you can see, even in this forum, peoples get uplifted when I sign in, be it scolding me, criticising me, or nice to me, they are inspired to wake up and make their day more wonderful just by thinking of Angel. That is what a buddhist should do, not stay inside temple all day and beg for food or collect money hor. Buddha travel during his time to make people happy and calm down, he dun just sit in temple and expect people to come to him.
When I was a nun, I asked my master, "Master, why do you make me beg for alm (foods) from the village peoples??" "why we dun plant our own rice and vegetables in our big yards" "Why do we have to beg, so embarassing, we also got money, can buy food"

australia is meant for working people.its not meant for retirement.singapore however is not profitable to work in unless u sell booty juiced fer a living.singapore isnt meant for retirement as the enviroment is too hot everyday.
best place to be would still be in the usa as they have everything there.spore has nothing and most of the technical engineerimg materials are hard to get even though they have them in spore.
i think people selling booty juice wont know what i mean.

usa is cheaper in terms of housing and land.think its cheapest of all developed cuntries i know of.malaysia is great too and convenient if they allowed sporeans in other than as tourists!
