If a guy is possessive = MCP.
Girl possessive = guys tiko.
Where got this type of logic one. Guilty by default....Anyway. BGR is like life. It is not perfect. Cannot be perfect. So its more beneficial to devote your energies to improve the quality of the relationship than to be a control freak.
Some guys might go find other girls to seek solace.
Girl control freak/possessive/-insert whatever- >> guy irritated >> Guy cannot tahan >> soured r/s >> go find new havenIf you think the girl/guy is an impediment to your dreams and aspirations, or that her/she is/will adversely affect your quality of life to the point that you can no longer accept, its better to end it.
Do what you must! Not what you like!

I will say I need to maintain social contact and social skills. Why? Because these are life skills, these are necessary for future growth in character, between you and your friends, and more importantly, you and your wife and children. Humans are social creatures, and by removing or reducing your amount of social contact, you are losing your identity as a human.

As for drinks with your guy buddies, have a stand. While you have to spend time with your girl as well, you need to spend some time for your friends too. You can make sure that you spend much more time with your girl than your guy friends.
The question is, why do you feel like she's a nuisance now? What changed? Are you afraid of commitment?
