SINGAPORE will send a small team of police personnel and deploy an airforce tanker aircraft to the Gulf to aid in bringing stability to the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.
The KC-135 aircraft will be deployed for three months 'as part of Singapore's continuing contribution to the coalition efforts to bring stability to Iraq and Afghanistan', the foreign affairs ministry in a statement.

Wonder wat would spore govt do if a singaporean is captured??? esp now tat we hav troops there in iraq too...would they threaten to kill the sinigaporean hostage if spore govt dun comply to their request?
