what was ur first car?? haha...mine was a Honda DC-2....i didn't know nothing abt cars at that time...just think that honda quite a gd car lorz...den DC-2 looked nice...haha...mine was a WHITE DC-2...TUNE C....what about u guys?

When i started was v2 mah.. then i ask my fren wat car good.. he tell me DC2 lor... so i choose white and he say his DC2 Tune C very nice to drive so i also Tune C.. thinking that if i donno he can teach me ma... kaka -
For me, my 1st car was FD3S Type R when i was a begineer.
After i get use of playing IDAS, i change to FC3S & AE85. My FC3S & AE85 are an advanced cars which it is hard to handle.
My FD3S Type R quit already after i get use of playing IDAS. FD3S Type R is a begineer car. -

then i tried celica GT4...
it was damn hard to control...

FYI, i have a FT FD3S and a FC3S. Although i am not that good, i find that every car has its own strength and weakness lor.. so its not good to say which car is for beginner and which car are for advance.
Some cars are merely easier to grasps so ppl who just started can produce better result. But that doesn't mean that they can control the full potential of the car. -

Then i must be the stupid one, my 1st car in IDAS (in version 2) was a AT BNR34. Only later on got a MT FD3S to deal with the evil forces known as "FISHERS IN DC2s" (because i refuse to use a DC2 myself)
In version 3, 1st car was a FD, but couldnt get used to its handling in v3, so hopped around a few cars for a while before i decided to make the BNR34 my main battle car (of course now it's MT) -
hmmm. i started playing ID back on d start of DEC 2003..
it was v2 back then.. 1st car: a GDB den 2nd car ish a dc2..
now in v3.. 1st transfered car ish a dc2.. but den i've started a new evo4 as my v3 1st new car.. -
hum... for v2 is DC-2... my fren ask me choose...
for v3... its my RX-8...
acutally i brough RX-8 for a reason...
starts wan i had a FD type R in v2... and i train akagi downhill wet to K those DC2s... but when v3 come out i still able to win alot of cars except RX8... so i brought one now... hehe -

mine's a dc2 as well in version2 eng.
because my friend told me it's good ( just started playing only) then saw quite a lot of ppl using it and it looked quite nice.... -

Don worry.. i am definately not 1 of the "fishers" at v2 Cuz i think i play for 2 weeks r.. then convert to v3 liao..!! haha.. not even enough time to basic tune my DC2 sia... Erm.. that time i only complete Myogi and Usui nia.. then stuck at Akagi FD up.. LoL
Then i convert my DC2 to v3. Started playing until my another fren who juz started got 86 then i help him play. Then i quite like it thats how i started wif 86 and follow by FC3S. -

my cars for v3 is AE86L->RX8->GDB
well to me, no cars are beginner cars...every car is the same, all requires certain skills and style of playing..even for AT its not branded a beginner car also..so leon please dun put such comments..unless you have attain the same standards as with the IR as fast as they put it up..then i agree to you its a beginner car cos its very easy to use and very easy to attain good records for you but remember this doesnt applies to everyone of us out there.. -

Car for V2 Mazda Roadster(dunno wat na6c huh)--->Toyota MR2 --> Honda DC2
Car for V3 Suzuki Cappucino --> Nissan R32 --> Subaru GDB --> Mazda FD3S (this wan buy the card but nvr use...haha) -
I think what we have here is a little misconception by Leon...
IMHO, if a newbie were to ask me what car to pick, i would recommend either the FD or the Evo IV, since both cars are easy to pick up and learn compared to the others (plus they run well almost everywhere)
However, i would not call them beginner cars, since some newbies who i recommended these cars to have gone on to become pretty good IDAS players with them, and they have no intention of switching their cars anytime soon. Plus, both cars are capable of power timings on almost all tracks, so it gives alot of room for learning and such.
So Leon, maybe u may not want to diss all FD users and such, but it appears u have done so. I also was a FD user in version 2, and i have great respect for anyone who uses this car. -
Lol... my first car was a blue RX-7 Spirit R in version 2. My poly friend say it was a good car to use so i got it. But too bad lah, I that time dunno much about cars, was one hell of a super mega crappy noob. The highest level i got was 11 (very noob right). Nobody to teach me how to play properly, if not can kick all the DC2 users ass.
Anyway, go a little off topic. When i started version haven't transferred my fd to version 3 yet so i still use it to challenge those idiotic dc2 drivers there. got once they brought me to iro 2 times but different drivers. my fd only like 700K they aledi full tuned liao. i lost to them on startup but almost all the turns, i brake and turned at gear 4 so i was right behind their asses until the jumps where i overtook them and led the rest of the way. That day was really one of my most memorable day in version 2 era, but DC2 days are gone now. Three cheers to version 3!!
