Since under AT mode, driver can still downshift whenever required, whats the main advantage of MT? And on AT mode, does the gear shift at the optimal shift points to max out acceleration?
I've been driving AT all along on my FC but would like to make a transit to MT, need some background info before I proceed. Would be greatful for any advice rendered. Sorry for asking such a newbie question, anyway thanks in advance.

AT then to drag the gear longer... and also, they can downshift the gear at the wrong time also.
For example you brake for a corner.. maybe u over brake by 1 or 2 kmh. Still, if it is below the mark they will downshift for u. Also, for AT, you can't do the feint drifting as you can't play ard wif the gear. Its a good try for ppl who are trying to learn both hands ba... anyway, thats how i learn 2 hand driving.. wif my AT RX-8^^...
But, if you really want improve, advice drive MT. Of cuz, some ppl do excel in AT mode... it all depends on the driver's preference. -

everytime saw him using AT very powerful than MT -
Maybe u can try using this two mode first before changing to the types of gears u want. Just waste another 2 dollars on the machine.
By the way, i'm using manual mode on EVO 4 and it seems good to me.

ZzZzZ.. of coz a manual feels gd.. last time.. when i started IDAS.. i used an auto car.. when i bwang onto the wall hard.. the spd stalls for quite sometime.. but for the manual.. a quick shift of gears will solve thiz.. it will stall for a moment, afterwhich, it will begin rising in spd..
