Hi, any kind soul can enlighten me on what the printings on the v2/v3 cards mean?
Details such as the stars, what they are for, how many is the max and how to obtain them. By the way, I heard that the cards are only good for fifty plays (excluding consecutive games) before it has to be transfered to a new card otherwise the card can no longer be used. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Pardon me for asking such a question, i am quite a newbie, been playing for a while on both v2 and v3 machines but usually by myself (I dun really have friends who are into InitialD arcade). I've been searching around the net but couldn't find much info on the cards. -
Well, the name.. quite obvious..
the KEY simply identify your card. I am sure 2 person can have the same KEY but i doubt they will have the same name and same car. So if you ever lost your card, that will help u identify.
The car type.. thats obvious too..
The maps you completed. Once you defeated every opponent in that specify map once you will get a stamp of the map name on your card.
Stars are simply your level of play. They are gain by completing maps, battle lvl and bunta challenge.
A card for V3 can only play for 51 times. After that you will get into Car Inspection which will change your card. But your pts, stars, bunta challenge, battle lvl all remain. You can choose AT or MT and your Tune. -

Stars, first round fo story mode, each area completed gives 1 star. Completion of all courses again for the 2nd and third time gives you another 2.
Battle levels, every 3 lelvels 1 star printed, until you reach level 30.
Bunta Challenge, each area, needs to have 1 star, then another star will be printed.
