I was wondering is this car good in all courses & battles? Because it is one of the most popular FR car in the game & arcade stage.

erm me semi-n00b in initial D....but juz wanna ask for FD3s the steering put to wad<1~9>is the best...coz my fren using FD and wanted to noe....FC the steering is put to 6 am i rite???

For FC3S, is up to up to decide which steering tightness you want to put. Also depend on your hand strength.

but you have to take note that it will take all the fun away of your FC3S...
especially FC3S is also a car to train drivers too, it teach you the importance of drifting... i would rather recommend you to set your steering to 4 and below to teach yourself some skills like feint drift and so on... one of my friend using steering 6 in time attack, he got good timing... but when it comes to battle, he suffer a lot of oversteer more easily than normal when his opponent bang his rear bumper... ( i guess he will never realise how come he lose...
)
also it drains away your energy... so it is not advisable to drain your energy in this way as you will confront a lot of battles if there is any one day...
Lastly, just ask those experts, how can you learn any skills if you set your steering so hard... i believe you will be terribly exhausted before you learn anything... its not about your strength, its about how you use your brain...

i got a fc3s from a friend and i didnt quite like the handling of it.
it seems slow...max at 199 on myogi...i kept a constant 204 on my r34..cant go past 204...tmd..
anyway i manged to perfect my myogi GC liao. managed to enter at 203 exit at 201or 199
once i managed to go in and out at 199 w/o any lost in speed.
another time even managed to come out faster and w/o knocking into anything -

the understeer problem with rx8 and rx7, is caused by the driver for most of the part. for expample, in akina, in those consecutive corners, ppl tend to turn the steering wheel lock to lock, that my friends, will induce big under when you into the 2nd corner and so on. Try use the MMT driving technique, even in tight corner, try not to turn lock to lock, instead always counter steer in a microway.
Also there is another technique, that is when you about start to turn, shift down and then shift up right the way (r34, r32 is a must), you steer angle will be increase to the direction of your turn. for example, akina hard right, you 're doing 165-170, do a out-in out, after you brake at out, maintain in top gear, release gas and turn and use the shift down/up (all in one motion), at apex, down shift and step on gas at the same, exit and upshift if you dont kiss the wall. try that, you'll see some significant shaving in time.

Rx-7 Spirit is quite diff from the Type R rite?

Type R 3"07 Akina DH : 400k Tune a
same with Akagi at 2"29 .
how come ? skills of a same driver too... -
FD3SI -- good in turns, but lacks acceleration.
FD3SVI -- just the opposite.
course like akagi, akina fits FD3SI better,
I got both of them, both fully tuned, I rank FD3SVI ahead, why, it has faster pickup, and good in uphill climb, handling improvement wise, some wheel/wings/muffler will do. For FD3SI , you just cant improve the build-in(two small turbos) lacking of mid/high end punch. For the same token, that's why rx8 is so popular, the 5/6 gear acceleration is just unbeatable, even it has a lower cornering speed than that of FD3S. -

FD3S VI == sprint r
for type r,
a tune = cornering
b tune = acceleration
c tune = good in rain
d tune = stable
for sprint r,
a tune = dry
b tune = wet/rain
mine sprint r is a tune, but with b tune wing and RE wheels. It got the best of both. dont waste pts on hood, makes no difference in fd.
