hey ppl,
just got back from arcade and feel so bloody ripped off!!!
was using my GC8V on story mode.. just started this card so i decided 2 finish story mode b4 tryin 2 get sum TA records.. beat the first 3 ppl easy.. got to SID and then the shit hit the fan !! As soon as the race started cud tell da difference so much.. this is on usui if u didn't noe... after doin all those hairpins i think the steering wheel fucked up... it was really loose, i cud pull it towards me and it was bout 2 fall off, so i decided to take it easy.. got to the first hairpin.. braked from 180sumthing to about 170 turned and then it just stopped hit da wall @ 180!!! slowed down to about 150 and kept going down even thou i was accelerating! i was leading by bout 110m... he caught up straight away and then won the race.... after that i thought " hey fuck this stoopid machine i want refund!".. my frend was wit me and was only drinking pearl tea and the assistant who watched my race kinda told her off completely !! wat a stoopid biatch! i was p'd off soo much.... i touched the steerin wheel agen and it was normal.. Weeeee it's ok now i thought... day gettin better 
put more money in (COST F-ING 2 buks a game in AUSTRALIA - WAT A RIP JOB???) played SID agen and same thing happened... going about 180 on the second and final lap and then the wheel doesn't turn whole way.. going 180 hit wall and slows down to about 150 all da way down to 135 and stays like that for about 10 secs.. sid overtake and i lose agen... is there any tips u can gimme on when 2 turn ?? i was doin ok the other 3 ppl, didn't hit any walls watsoeva until wheel fucked up.. tips wud help, even thou i fink it is wheel definitely not playing on that machine agen!

erm.. u could adjust the strength of the steering wheel... depends on how u hit the wall... if u tap the wall.. u lost about 1-2 kph.. however.. if u "glued" to the wall for a couple of sec.. ur speed will drop alot... thats all i could think of

2. it's about 1 buck at most places here..some places 90 cents, some 1.50..
3. SID (or Tsukamoto, dont like these tokyopop names haha) is a menace...you absolutely cant crash at the two grand curves on usui...or you will lose...so try braking more and playing it safety first..if you still lose despite not crashing, it could be you are taking them too slow...so try to find a medium, so you wont crash but still have a decent exit speed)..

Well the wall penalty on usui is very high...since you are going at very fast speeds on this track, once you crash your accel will just go out the window...cause the impact with the wall is greater than on other tracks...(yes some physics do apply in this game lol) As sinistral said, if you only tap you wont lose so much speed.....but if you rub the wall or crash, you will have a very long lag that would cost you the race... -
Wait a minute. Sid? Are you playing ver2? That would also mean it's raining for this particular Usui track, right?
Yeah, what Hira said. Most are $1 a game so please don't go kill yourself after reading this. I was in Australia for studies about 3 years ago. I guess why they keep it at $2 (all of the games are bloody expensive!!) is because most of the people who play this are the rich asians. Anyway for the Aussies, they don't mind spending this amount of money if they can have fun. Go to their casinos, you'll realise the difference as compared to Genting or Batam. Just don't gamble 
For GC8V, if you're really sure of the track, use steering 1 or 2 if you want some feeling. 1 has almost no feeling and this is for dry. It's really no feeling at all if it's raining. That could explain why you felt the steering is like spoilt. But if you could pull the wheel towards you, I guess it's spoilt.
Anyway for the 1st turn, brake more but do not fully steer as you'll cause it to spin. Start braking lightly about 50m before the turn. You should be able to slide through nicely at about 155 - 160.
The 2nd turn is a bit tricky. Looks wide but you can't go too fast. Same thing as before, brake lightly before reaching the turn. Turn gently and slide through at about 170 would be alright.
One last thing, it's actually better to slow down a lot to go through the turn nicely than to speed through and crash. You really lose too much speed if you crash and usually it causes you to lose. -
yeah went 2 arcade n my friend beat him for me so yea
.... up to akagi now, beat the first 3 ppl and onli tried KT(dunno name) once and he beat me by a little bit cos car is weird... from the start i think it's pretty good, ppl say shift 5000, 6000, 6500, 7000 (my car gc8v).. then in the middle parts when the car picks up speed like it's up to 7000 on 4th gear, i change to 5th and then it like slows down, accel is realli slow, so when i battle ppl i just keep it in 4th most the way 
Vs'd this guy, he has dc2 with 250,000 points, i've got like 70,00(just started dis card) and i was tryin, akagi uh night, didn't hit any walls, only a bit here and there and he passed me so easy on the straight cos of the 5th gear thing, for the first part i was keeping the same distance in front.. or mayb he was just goin easy on me and not accelerating and passing me early?
anyway, wat tips u guys got for doin akagi uh, so i can beat KT?
