wat does the AE86 engine do exactly?
does it give it alot more accel and top speed?
r there disadvantages to upgrading the engine?

I find the engine change makes the 86 better for turning and drifting...
and the engine sounds nicer.

For Full tuned Option D (9000 meter engine) I not very sure, but if you look carefully at the acceleration and gearing. its most suitable for tracks that requires low speed like iro. but for shomaru maybe
in terms of Pick up, its faster. (9000 engine)
If you use like option a (12k engine)
Pick up is slower, but turning and drifting abilities are boosted up.
its fast for all tracks only a bit disadvantage in iro.
Its first gear is fast when comes to pick up.
Fourth and Fifth gear is the fastest in terms of straight roads.
For trueno, it origins are slow in fast out depending on your skill.
My logic for trueno is slow is ok just don't bang. cause this car once bang means finish. if you mastered 86. you wouldn't have any problem with other cars, cause you already learned the origins of 86.
