  in real life its mostly a good thing. in Initial D, doesn't make much diff.

  6 speed is a good thing
  cars with 6 speed have better startup

  In initial d, it makes a huge difference..all 6 gear cars start up faster than 5 gear cars if there is no lining advantage..GDB, NB8C, S15, R34, Altezza, S2000 and RX8 all start up faster than 5 gear cars in the game..

  yah lor... sianz.... i use 5 gear evo3/4 also die.... all use 6gears bully noob like me
  
  but.... 6 gears have a disadvantage at iro UH.... espcially if the guy using the six gear dunno how to turn hehe cannot compete again my evos....
