  automatic's later gears are always wrong...but their first few gears are always correct...

  The ppl who make this game make the auto shift points wrong on purporse 2 encourage players 2 use manual trans.

  Nope. I beg to differ. Automatic pickup is the BEST pickup and MOST accurate in the entire game.
  
  Simply, I have tried MT VS AT. While humans have a split second error timing, AT is the most accurate at shifting. People pick MT for the ease of cornering within a speed range of the gear. AT does not perform so well here already. They have their pros and cons. AT's pickup is the most accurate. I'm still trying to grasp my own car's pickup by watching the AT one. MT is not as accurate as AT. That I can confirm.

  Ya shini the first three gears of auto is always spot-on.....but it's the later gears that is the problem right? this makes automatic better for start-up purposes because there is no human error involved but then it is poorer for general racing......i was watching an automatic trueno and it shifted to 5th at 10,000rpm!! when it is supposed to be 10,500rpm......

  I raced an auto trans Trueno with my manual trans hachiroku (both full-tuned), the auto trans car was very fast off the line, but the guy dunno how 2 shift while turning...
  
  I overtake him after the 2nd checkpoint, and then the race was mine...
  
  Manual trans is cool...

  Yep. Manual is good for cornering. But Automatic owns the pickup. Both have pros and cons.
