  I know some ppl are gonna ask this, so i might as well say it now..
  
  The GC8V started from v3 is no different from a GC8V you transfer from v2. No external parts change, no different colours to choose from. And still 990k to full tune your internals.

  after shiftin then press and hold brake n press view change? can u elaborate clearer wat to press? thanks

  Okie...after shifting step and hold onto the brake pedal and then press the view change button.

  there's 1 thing i simply dont understand.
  why bother locking it, when they are providing the code on their website ?

  It's a marketing strategy. Everybody likes to go look out for secret/s in games. And when everyone gets a little bit bored by the game, they release the code for the secret/s to get everyone interested in it again. The code is changed from ver2 to ver3 so those who are really curious about will have to try and find it. And once they find it (someone is sure to find it), word gets around and everyone wants to try it.
  
  Just like RX8. It was hyped up to be a secret car and that generated a lot of interest for ver3. Well it wasn't but it served its purpose.
  
  In ver2, while inputting the code, it didn't matter when you stepped on the brake. The important thing was to step and hold it down when you pressed the view change button. Maybe the code is correct, just that the sequence or timing of certain things are changed. Maybe need to step and hold brake before shifting? I'm not sure if this works so don't blame me.

  Cannot get it right? Okie...no problem...I try to be more detail about it, so that nobody can get it wrong.
  
  At the car selection screen with all the manufacturer brands.
  Do this:
  Pull the gear stick downwards 6x, push the gear stick upwards 2x, step on the brake pedal hard and do not release it and press the blue view change button while still stepping on the brake pedal hard. You should hear a 'vroom' sound. Swing your driving wheel to Subaru manufacturer and you will see the GC8V there.
  
  Pulling the gear stick downwards is actually the motion for increasing your car's gears and pushing the gear stick upwards is actually lowering your car's gears.

  Hmm.... so u got it by that method? For me i was stepping on the brake the whole time.. so not too sure abt it. Anyway i got it also..^^
