brake early and steer into the gutter..the ideal way of guttering would be to just touch it and come out of the corner...if you stay in the gutter for too long your speed might actually drop...for version 2 you must enter the gutter at 110 and above, not too sure about this version yet...some cars like the skyline will be hard to take all gutters, but a car like the trueno should be taking all of them...also, gutters are only useful in corners, they are not useless in the straightaways..Originally posted by takumi_sg:so many reply but no one teach me hwto take gutter -
Er, I don't quite understand the last line. Are you also saying the gutters can help if I'm on a straight road? I think the speed to enter the gutters for the 4 turns on Akina for ver3 is also above 110. I can only hit the first 2 gutters so I'm assuming the last 2 gutters also the same speed or maybe higher. Do not enter the gutter if about 95 or lower, it will actually be harder to handle. -

why bother to gutter if u turn the 5 hairpins at 110? for the tofu car, i do an average of 120 for all the turns without guttering.

the point is, if u turn at 110, u should instead try and improve and push it to the limit 1st then finally use the gutter to further improve the turn. i think that's better. coz for 110, i think u can at least improve 5-7 km....

but today i did see a guy use a white rx7 in clementi. really fast on akina, both DH and UH. he uses the gutters so nice. well, for me, that's still a long way to go.

Most importantly is to understand and know how wide is your car. Then you should be able to judge how much you can push in.
