my friend is getting a car soon.
is there any cars u think he shld get ?
in ver2 and ver3
and also what tunes for it.
i know abit late but he didnt want to play until i jio him.

hehe, I think you should let him get the car he wanna drive lor. At least he know he like that car and not chosen by other people. Like one of my friend who got an Evo 7 despite me telling him about Dc2, Gc8v, FDs and such, he just love playing wif that car.

i fully agree with bochupi ........ even though most version 3 players nowadays are driving EVOs, EVOs and more EVOs, i stuck on with my RX-8, GC8V and the humble Hachi-roku
to truly enjoy the game is wheen u get the most fun out of it while playing and winning with your favorite car ........ not what others have recommended cuz it will most probably be those "top-tier" cars[/quote] -

my AE85 tune A is the best cos of the turbo.....but be warned....this car requires alot of patience cos It REALLY trains the driver due 2 the slow acceleration (pickup is fast but going to top speed is slow) so once u bang the walls....thats it....it requires quite a bit of skill to be fast....Originally posted by bismarck:what tunes for each car ? -

ermm tunes make little difference...different tunes make little difference to times, but each tune suits different driving styles.for the FD, Tune A is supposedly the 'best' tune to start with. if you choose tune B, it will have a big single turbo instead of the twin-turbo which the other tunes have. It is better for high-speed tracks. Also, choosing N-tune for the FD will be a good choice at inspection as it will make the car lighter. Just fit the necessary parts after that. For the R34, Tune C is the mid-high rpm tune, it is the best tune. Get the Mines and Nismo parts on it after you full-tune it. N-Tune for the Skyline is poor. For the Evo IV, go for tune A and then swtich to N-tune at inspection.Originally posted by bismarck:what tunes for each car ? -
If you're thinking of getting a trueno, Tunes D/N do not get the new engine. Tune D gets a turbo while Tune N retains the old engine. Tunes A, B and C get the new engine that Takumi gets in the anime.
